General Staff Rating
Care Staff Rating
Five years ago my sister moved to an assisted living facility in Florida. Over the years, she had steadily deteriorated which we thought was just a normal part of aging. Four months ago we moved her to the Ivy at Ellington. The entire staff has been outstanding in creating a plan to improve her health, decrease her pain and increase her safety and happiness. Today, when we stop in to see her, she is smiling and enjoying life once again. We could not have chosen a better facility in which to put our trust. Thank you to everyone at the Ivy for all that you do to care for those who need a little help or a lot of help.
We moved my mom into the Ivy a year ago in June. From the very beginning when My brother made the first call and I then went to the facility with my MotherTo look at the place! We were both pleasantly surprised to see how beautiful and accommodating that The Ivy was. I was so impressed with how the staff and Management was so friendly to is upon our first meeting. My mom was excited then to sell her house that she lived in by herself and to get New Furniture for her New home. With some belongings from her house and her New things she made her apt.cute and cozy..Her New home. My mom has had her ups and downs and has been through alot but I have to say a Big Thank You to all of the staff ..the nurses..the receptionist's ..and management. You ALLgo Above and Beyond and are kind and Sweet to her!I highly recommend The Ivy @Ellington...Its a good feeling to know that at the end of the day my Mother is in a safe and homelike Environment that we know she is being taken care of!!Thank You Sincerely for all your hard work!!
My husband’s Aunt Marlene is one the first residents in the memory care unit. She is very happy and we are very pleased with the accommodations and prices. The staff is well trained and caring. The receptionist, Cindy, is very warm, caring and respectful with an outgoing personality. We would recommend The Ivy to anyone looking for a special place for a loved one.
My wife and I moved into the Ivy At Ellington about 10 months ago after evaluating several assisted living facilities. She has Alzheimer's but I was allowed to move in with her at a small additional cost. The goal was to provide a safe and pleasant environment. After a few months I moved out knowing she was being cared for in the best possible ways. Everyone is friendly and caring which I attribute to this being a family owned facility rather than a large corporate operation. Our children visit regularly and we are very happy with everything here.
