I am so grateful for the staff at Las Vegas Post Acute and Rehabilitation. They are taking good care of my mother. The staff has become family. It's not about how modern a facility is. But, the love and medical knowledge is most important. I sleep soundly at night knowing that my mother is safe, loved, medically monitored and in close distance.
Horrible horrible place!!!!! There is people there that is on Medicare that don't have family just there!!! Mostly all associates that's work there are Vietnamese and don't speak English files are every where . And the social worker didn't do her job my father was ready to leave this place and I had to stay on her to get him discharged. Residents are fighting each other Nurse's walk around eating food not helping the elderly. It's just sad and a smell of urine and the other is the smell through the hall. My father had to go to his appointment which I told them a week in advance he didn't show up they said car problems we had to reschedule!! Really and Mary the social worker desk was a mess with patience paper work every where!! Stack's and Stack's not filed know wonder why we had to people calling for home healthcare now they are saying CNI came in and stolen info to get the contract for my father home care!!! That place needs to go under a new management. Keeping people there just because they are on Medicare is wrong at lease see if they have family members to check and take care of there well being. Just as I thought now there was a shooting in there!!! Yeast
there were some staff members that were caring towards my mother, but only one star because:-There was one office staff member that was rude and not welcoming at all. Couldn't wait to get rid of my mom when her insurance coverage was winding down.-The building itself needs a tune up; very worn down.-They allow smoking outside on the premises. To make things worse, it's in front of patients windows.-Lastly, during my mom's stay there, her name was misspelled on everything. Details are everything
This is not a place that truly cares for nor respects their patients. The food seems unhealthy, even for a healthy person. The rooms look like they have not been cleaned in years. Clearly with streaks, spills, dust bunnies, filthy floors and the smell of this place is that of very inferior care. Sadly the staff in general is uncaring and it seems like a nice raquet of a "caring" business.
Anyone on here right this place anything but 0 stars or 1 it's an absolute lie and a paid opinion. This cheap uncaring horrible horrible place killed my mother. Go down take a look for yourself with your own eyes and see what you think of this place before believing any reviews
While doing clinical rotations as a nurse practitioner student, I have witnessed nothing but safe and competent care from a friendly and concerned staff. Rehab centers always run the risk of having a nursing home 'feel' to them, and I feel that LV post acute does as good a job as possible to avoid this.
