Sometimes a family needs that extra special touch that only people who really care can give, we found that in each of you who helped lift our burden and lightened our load and provided a comfortable solution taking care of our father for the last several months. Our sincerest thanks for giving so much of yourself to provide the care and attention our father needed.I know I will forget some of the names but wanted to give a very big thanks to Matt, Michelle, Amanda, Tessa and Erin (my NY buddy) and all the Memory Care Team!!! The Coppenger Family
I am so happy with our choice to move our Mother to this facility. She has really blossomed in her first 4 weeks here! Walking again( w help from a walker), eating well, while Morale and cognitive abilities improved. This "New Home" is a wonderful welcoming, caring place. I Highly recommend!! Sharon
This place only looks like this, when they're trying to impress. As an employee, I can tell you they are severely understaffed. Administration only schedules the minimum number of employees required by law, which is not ok. Some "lead" staff members are verbally ABUSIVE to residents and lower staff. Or they neglect the residents all together. These people are allowed to behave this way without any correction or disciplinary action from management... Staff is over worked, tired, and asked to do things that pose risks to residents; ALL THE TIME. When things are brought up to administration, they have a "Not my problem" attitude. Its all about the $ for these people.
My 97 yr. old Dad has been a resident for over 4 yrs. My family and I are so thankful for this assisted living. They have treated him with respect, kindness, love and great care. We appreciate all they have done especially during these difficult times with Covid. The Executive Director, Matt, and his staff have been so understanding of the residents and their families. They have taken extra measures to keep everyone safe. My Dad has enjoyed all the fun activities throughout the yrs. This is a place that shows love and understanding! We are so grateful for all they have done to make this a home for our Dad.
My 99 year old mother is a new resident at The Retreat and we are very pleased. She has lived in several different senior communities and says that this is her favorite (and she is a pretty hard -to -please person). The food is good, there are lots of activities, and the staff is caring and very responsive. So far, so good!

We really love this community. From the moment you walk in you are welcomed like family, which is not surprising considering this community is privately owned-a rare feature of assisted livings. The management and staff are responsive to the needs of the people they serve. I feel grateful to have met such a wonderful group of professionals who sincerely care.
