The folks at Historic Roswell Place took great care of my mom while she lived there all the way until the end. I’ve heard the horror stories about assisted living and nursing homes being just a transactional business that nickeled and dimed you and your loved one to death, but not here. Everyone from management on down to the maintenance staff built a relationship with my mom and made her feel so loved — often going well and above the level of care we paid for in the process because it was the right thing to do. Bottom line: they care. I will always be grateful for the support they provided to me and my mom.
When you choose a community, look for staff who know what they are doing and pay attention to what is happening. This shows in everything you see at Historic Roswell. I have had several clients from CaraVita Home Care there as well as RUMC friends and they all say the same thing. Top-notch and person-centered.
The entire Historic Roswell Place Community welcomed my mother and made her feel loved. My mother required assisted living support while under hospice care. She was treated as a person and not a number by everyone. I live in a different state and my concerns about my mother’s care were alleviated by the staff attention to her and open communication with me. Visiting my mom was easy and everybody knew me by my first name. I am forever grateful to Historic for caring for my mother and allowing the two of us to share quality time together. If I ever have a friend or another family member who requires assisted living, I will send him or her to Historic Roswell Place.
This place is absolutely amazing. The staff are caring and responsive, the food is delicious , the place is beautiful and there is always something going on from morning exercise, to community programs, trivia, bingo and ice team socials. My man has started calling his lovely room his “Man Cave”. -LOL.
We LOVE Historic Roswell Place! It is, by far, the BEST assisted living community in Roswell, GA. My mom is thriving living here, receiving superior care, the most devoted, loving and extremely hard-working staff who take care of every little detail, wonderful residents who have become her dear friends, enriching daily activities, top-notch medical oversight, and so, so much more. Living at Historic Roswell Place has truly given my mom a second lease on life, which is the most precious gift considering they saved her life 4 times in the past year. HRP is THE reason that I can sleep at night knowing she is in the best hands. At Historic Roswell Place, my mom's home feels like home to me, and HRP is my family!
Historic Roswell Place is by far the best assisted living in the Roswell/East Cobb area. My George has been there for the past 1 1/2 years and absolutely loves it. The staff are caring and responsive, the food is excellent and varied, the rooms are lovely and the facility has just undergone a major renovation with new carpet, beautiful and comfy new furniture and new paint throughout. There 2 patios, and 2 porches that have new beautiful seating also and a new theatre room. The Wellness center does an amazing job in caring for the health needs of the residents. There is exercise class every morning except Sunday and an exercise room. One of the best things about HRP is the activities. There is always something going on : trivia, bingo, ice cream social, singers and bands, chef demos, book club and parties on all the major Holidays. This is a place where everyone is loved and cared for as if they were their own parents.

Historic Roswell Place is absolutely the BEST assisted living in the Roswell/ East Cobb area. I looked a 7 different places in the area before I checked out this one for my George. He loves it here. The place is beautiful...just recently redecorated with comfy furniture, new carpet, freshly painted & 2 beautiful patios. The rooms are lovely with 2 big closets and lots of shelving in the bathroom. The kitchenette has a fridge, microwave and lots of cabinet and drawer space. The staff is amazing. They are so kind and caring and have taken such good care of George! The food is excellent & George is always telling me how much he enjoys it (and he is a picky eater). Arlene, the executive director is always responsive to any questions I may have & responds promptly. Before Covid-19, there were lots of parties, singers and activities - Christmas, Valentines Day, St. Patrick's Day, Memorial Day cook-outs, 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, etc that always included families. Now, they are just for the residents - and weekly there is bingo, trivia, movies, Happy Hour (George's favorite), Chef demos, ice cream socials, singers (outside), Book club, etc. Lisa, the amazing activities director, always has something planned for the residents. The location is perfect and residents feel like they are a part of the community of Roswell as there is always activity going on around them that they can watch from the porch.
I’ve visited Historic Roswell Place multiple times during the past year to attend networking meetings. Every time I visit I’m always impressed by the attentiveness of the staff and how the residents are engaged in the various activities. The facilities are kept clean and the grounds are well maintained. If my parents were still alive, I’m sure they would have enjoyed living here!
Historic Roswell Place is a wonderful community. My mother, while in hospice care, was a resident there and she was treated with love, support, and dignity. I lived in a different state and I was grateful for the care my mom received as I felt she was treated like a person and not a number. Whenever I would visit her, I was enthusiastically welcomed by the community and any concerns I might have had about my mother’s care were instantly alleviated. The food was delicious and different actives keeps the residents engaged. If I ever have another family member or a friend who requires assisted living care, I will send him or her to Historic Roswell Place.
Historic Roswell Place is absolutely wonderful! My mom has been living here since May 2017 and she receives the absolute best care. The facility is beautiful, the staff is caring, the activities are varied and well planned and I can't say enough about all of the wonderful residents who live here. Hands down this is THE best assisted living facility in Roswell. Check them out!
