My mom and dad are coming up on their year anniversaryAt the Lodge. The staff at the Lodge have shown a dedicated kindness in helping them in their transition to making the Lodge their new home. Their professionalism, and their obvious care of the residents has helped our entire family adjust to changes that are never easy for a family. We appreciate the staff who cares for our parents and we are grateful for the Lodge.

My mom and I had a very pleasant experience with The Lodge in Carson City, NV. My mother was taken care of with expert care. Helped to the dining room and back to her room. Unfortunately, my mother just passed away. While my mom was in Hospice, living at The Lodge. I always, found my mother, her hair combed, clean and in fresh pajamas. I can't say enough about the care she received from the staff. I'd like to Thank The Lodge from the bottom of my heart for taking such excellent care of my mom. I couldn't of asked for a better facility. Debbie Andrade

I've been coming to the Lodge for over a year now and I must say the Office Staff and the caregivers are all wonderful! They make a variety of foods for everyone and even offer daily foods for those who want something not on the menu for that day. The facility is very clean and definitely makes it feel like a 5 star hotel. The rooms are a great size for your loved one and they offer memory care for those who need a little more one on one attention. I enjoy coming here when I take care of my clients and enjoy the friends I've made with the staff. This is the nicest facility I've been to in Carson City!

We were so happy when we found this place for my father in law. They got voted as the top Assisted Living in Carson City. Wow. We are so disappointed with it. He was there for four days and none of the care staff knew he was even there. The food is horrible. Several of the residents have told my father in law they hate the food. It took them two weeks to do his laundry. So disappointed. What a let down. My FIL is not happy there at all.

The Lodge like many senior care facilities are understaffed and the employees are not up to date on the proper care techniques. My mother was at The Lodge for 4 months, the caregivers were friendly and did their job to the best of their ability. The nurse on staff was very aloof and not very compassionate when discussing our mother's condition. The director of the facility was accomadating at first, but when I questioned my mom's fall the atmosphere quickly changed. I realize that No facility is perfect, but if you want to know what is going on you have to be present and ask questions. The family needs to be an advocate and a voice for their loved ones.

I personally have watched The Lodge over the years really transform to one of our greatest communities for seniors. The staff are excellent and they really go the extra mile to make this community a fun place and safe place to reside. With the care plans they develop, the partners the work with and facility team, they really do provide a great impact our community and seniors. They always try hard to host fun events for their residents as well. I’ve helped and have participated in many of them. Their care and compassion is definitely above board and extraordinary. With all the chaos during COVID they really tried extra hard to think out of the box to help the residents and their families get through this difficult time in a safe and compassionate way. With the great leadership in their administrator and several other leaders in this facility, I would definitely consider placing my family here and would know that they would be taken care of with love and dignity. It’s definitely my honor to talk highly about the Lodge. Great job to all of you and thank you for all you do!!!Craig “Bear” StevensVP of Business DevelopmentA Plus Hospice Care.

I have been to other AL and IL's before, and The Lodge by far is my favorite. Everyone is so welcoming and nice, the staff all have smiles on their faces when you're passing by, overall, it's a very happy place - and if you ever stop by, ask for some Moose Tracks, you'll thank me later!

I had the pleasure of first speaking with Becka at The Lodge. She’s one of those sweet ladies, that would go on beyond her duties to help me move my 92 year old mother. I’m a matter of a few weeks, my mother was moved in. She needed help to find the dinning room, no problem staff was there to assist her in anyway. My mother always talked to me about her caregivers. She would go on and on about everything they did for her. Unfortunately, my mother took ill and was placed on Hospice. My head swirling and trying to figure out my next move. Hospice was wonderful! However, The Lodge was spectacular. I asked, Paula one of the charge nurses, was this something they could handle or should I consider a Skilled nursing facility. First thing came out of her mouth was. “We got this” and told me they will be able to care for my mom until the end. As time got closer to her leaving this earth. I was in constant communication with the Staff at The Lodge with call or emails. And as always, I would receive a warm, “We’re here for you” call us anytime day or night, and I did and always was greeted cheerful and with the upmost respect.Sadly, my mom passed a few weeks ago. Nothing changed with this wonder group. Denise and Thomas came into my mom’s room and gave their sincere condolences. Fighting back my tears and giving Denise a hug, I noticed she had tears in her eyes. In ending this, I felt Blessed to have found The Lodge. You will never see any of the employees without a smile on their face. I was amazed that they always remembered my name. That says a lot about this establishment. The Lodge claims to be 5 stars. This is wrong they are a 10+ star facility. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such great care of my mom“Two Beer Tudy” her fun nickname.I will miss my friends at The Lodge. God Bless each and everyone of you.Love,Debbie Andrade

The lodge is a home like beautiful community with wonderful atmosphere. I would recommend to anyone looking for assisted living or dementia care. Their memory care is so active with a wonderful and safe garden for their residents of the community to be very involved in. They partner with youth groups in the area, which is so important for this population!

In January I found out I would need to move my mother from Assisted Living in California to Carson City where I reside. I toured several Assisted Living facilities and The Lodge checked all my boxes. Becka Thompson was wonderful and spent time with me touring the facility and answering all my questions. Becka invited my husband and myself to attend a supper event they had in the dinning room there was live music and dancing. We met a couple who's father had been living at The Lodge for over 5 years and they only had great things to say. The dinning room can't be beat! On the third floor with beautiful views of the mountains out every window.Once we met the Executive Director, Denise Iwertz, we were sold. Denise is a very hands on Director and obviously a caring person. My mother is now fully moved in now and extremely happy with her new room and the care she is getting. She is enjoying the activities that are offered and loves her view from her table in the dining room.I would recommend The Lodge to anyone who is looking for a caring, clean, well run Assisted Living facility.
