My mother-in-law has lived here for over 3 years. The apartments are nice enough, but the food is downright awful! She and others have complained to no avail many, many times. As an example, this is today's " Sunday dinner". A cut up polish sausage with a few pieces of lettuce, a few bits of cut up potato and a dried out roll. There is no excuse for these kind of meals day in and day out, for what they pay!Edit: In regards to their reply, she has met numerous times with the "chef" and met with management several times concerning the food. The chef has promised to do better and has not. Nutritionist? Yeah, I don't think so.
My grandmother has been a resident of the Carson Plaza for four years now and is enjoying her time there. They do a lot of activities and she keeps a busy social schedule in between her work out class, bingo, and bible study. My family and I are so appreciative of the staff there. The company has seen some turnover and loved people have had to leave, but all in all, everyone is so caring. I have to mention Deysi and Rosa specifically because of the attention they pay my grandmother at lunch. My family and I rest easy knowing that my grandmother is as happy as she can be.
I was delivering groceries for an elderly lady and when I walked in there a VERY rude older lady with circle glasses that works in the front office asked if I was Vaccinated since I had to sign in on a machine by the door and i proceed to answer no…. Her response was you should specially coming into these type of places ! Hmmm first I don’t need any one to tell me what to do when I’m wearing my mask and I use hand sanitizer when delivering food or groceries! Second I’ve worked as a caregiver and I know how to be careful with older people. If they are rude to me I can only imagen how horrible they treat their residents! I will know when I get vaccinated but while then I will make sure I protect others and my self by wearing my mask and using hand sanitizer and or washing my hands ! Stuff like this makes me super mad due to the fact that I love older people and me helping delivering their food or groceries is the best feeling to me !
I have a one-bedroom apartment at Carson Plaza that has vinyl flooring that permits me to roll in my desk chair anywhere in the bedroom, bathroom and living area. I am also adjacent to the west parking lot which provides quick access to my car. The amenities at Carson Plaza are all-inclusive and leave nothing to be desired. The only out-of-pocket expenses are phone and WiFi -Computer upgrade. Management and staff are outstanding. Welcome home as you choose Carson Plaza.
