Employees generally have positive things to say about working for Frontier Management. However, they also note that pay and benefits are not competitive, training is lacking, and management can be disrespectful and unethical. Advice to management includes training for a week straight before turning someone out on their own, not moving good people around, becoming more top heavy and reevaluating leadership, providing competitive wages, and listening to employees when they have a problem.Healthcare Nearby

My dad lives at Overland Court Senior Living. He is very happy and content there. The activities director is amazing! She keeps everyone very busy and the entertainment at OCSL is wonderful! The staff is friendly and helpful! The medical staff does a super job of taking care of all the Residents! Great food is served by a great staff! The place is kept vey clean!
this is a wonderful place to live. the activities are wonderful. Karen makes sure they all are happy and busy. she brings in the most special events of any place i know . they are well taken care of and treated very special. check it out if your looking for a place for a loved one. this is definitely one of the very best and loving for your loved one. i love going there every month to entertain cause everyone is so happy and friendly. God bless all those who work there, they are very kind and loving and caring people. GREAT PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would like to thank the staff of Overland court for the love and care that they have given my mom who passed on April 11. Especially Debra, Christine, Sala, Tiffany, Friketta, and so many more that I can't begin to list them all. You made things wonderful for my mom and were so kind to me. I love you all. My gratude can not be expressed. Thank you.
Do not work there…!!!!!!!!the majority of caregiver staff are untrained and unprofessional (AND UNETHICAL in there “manhandling if memory care patients)… I personally witnessed numerous occasions when the caregivers were “manhandling “, “ strong-arming” basically “assaulting the memory care patients to do what the said caregivers requested.. (YES.. that is correct ASSAULTED- and I also was witness to a caregiver/medtech who obviously had a “more than professional “ relationship with one of the memory care patients.. totally unprofessional and unethical!!!!!!!!)
My mom has been at Overland for over a year, surviving the Covid days and beyond. I can say that she has had the best care possible at this facility. The staff is very attentive to her needs, and their sense of humor and positive interactions helped her get through some of the hard days. Hats off to Melanie and Bonnie up front who are so willing to help in any way. Angela, Kimberly, and Deborah work so hard and have a wonderful demeanor with the residents. I would definitely recommend Overland Court.
If I could give them 10 stars, I would! My parents are current residents at Overland Court Senior Living in Boise, and have been there for a little over a year. Colleen, Melanie, Karen, Kayla, Angela, Alicia, Bonnie and the ENTIRE care staff are amazing and I'm so thankful that my parents are being so well taken care of. We had a pretty awful experience at the previous property where they were living in Caldwell and I was so worried when I was looking to move them. Allen, Colleen and Melanie were the first people I met. They were compassionate, welcoming and transparent. Best decision I've ever made! My parents are doing pretty well, despite the Covid restrictions and this is a direct result of the entire team at Overland Court and Karen, the Activities Director, for their positive attitudes, love and compassion for their residents. Every time I ask my parents if their doing ok, their response is always the same. "We are doing fine and they treat us really well here". :) I can't say enough about Overland Court and Frontier Management. Thank you so much for all you do and for the wonderful team you have in place in Boise. I am forever grateful.
I absolutely adore the facility and administrative staff. Everyone truly cares and takes the time to get to know those who live their as well as their families. They have done a fantastic job at doing everything within there power to keep families and loved ones safe and connected during these lady several months. Thank you Overland Court for all you do everyday
If I could rate this place zero stars I absolutely would. The staff is great and I loved working with the caregivers and med-techs and loved the effort made by them in regard to the care of those residents, however management is an absolute joke. The nurse, Angela, is probably the biggest joke of them all, she does not care for the resident needs, does not listen to her staff, and does the bare minimum required for her job. As far as marketing director, and activity director go, their attitudes are some of the worst I have stumbled upon in any care facility that I have been to or worked for. These people speak down to their staff and are just all around extremely rude. I advise anyone considering this place for their family members to take this into consideration and be cautious around these people. Overland Court is less than adequate in terms of care and I feel bad for the care staff that are forced to compensate and handle the short comings of the management.
I came here a few weeks ago to check this community out for my Mother. Let me just say that I have never been more taken aback at how many Females are Tattooed and just Trashy Looking. This is such a turn off to many Folks like myself. I thought I stumbled into a Trailer Park!! Another thing, get some new Carpet, for crying out loud...
My mom is still independent, with a walker. She loves her room and the staff is very good to her. They can also transition to a different part of the center with age(when they need more care, or their mental abilities change). She can also get her hair done weekly ( in house beautician), and every 3 months she gets her feet and hands done! She is treated like a Queen!
Overland Court Senior Living looks like an excellent place to live. My family and I toured this facility and really liked it. Unfortunately for us, my grandparents need time to get their affairs in order before moving to the Boise area from out of state, so it's unlikely there will be an opening in the Transitions memory care side when they're ready to go. But we're hoping there might be!The marketing director, Melanie, seemed to know the residents by name. Staff is individualized to department so they should be very knowledgeable about their department. There are photos of residents doing fun, activities and resident artwork is displayed on the walls throughout the building. The apartments seem comfortable. There are multiple daily on-site activities and multiple trips per week. It is also very close to an Albertson's, a thrift store, a Dairy Queen, and many other shops. The Transitions Memory Care wing is just through some double doors, and has a good feel to it. It didn't seem institutional at all. It felt like a nice home. Residents were out in the common area socializing with one another and with the staff. Transitions is their memory care section that is for residents who are in the more beginning stages of dementia. They have another memory care section called Generations that is for residents who are in the later stages. I think that is something that we all really liked as well. All of their rooms are private (unless couples want to share in the Assisted Living section), and they have four different size options in their Assisted Living and two in their Memory Care. Even for residents on Medicaid, they get a private studio apartment. This facility requires two years of private pay before a resident can utilize Medicaid to pay for their stay.I could write more about them, but I would recommend you just go ahead and schedule a tour for yourself if you are interested!
I personally worked at this facility. I fully enjoy MOST of the caregivers at this facility. Their “Generations” unit is probably the best I’ve seen. Amazing group of women working there. Carrie in particular stood out to me with her caring kind heart. She truly loves her residents and cares for their wellbeing. If I was just rating the caregivers they would get 5 stars in that unit. However, “Transitions” their unit you would be in before “generations” is absolutely terrible! The caregivers their are very rude and unpleasant. Most that I have a met and worked with look at it as a “job they don’t like” but need the paycheck. They are good to the residents but not the extra caring that all Alzhiemers and dementia patients need. They do the bare minimum. One employee in transitions stuck out to me. Her name was Kim. She didnt act like the rest. She does have a don’t talk to me appearance but once you do she’s very caring and friendly. She does amazing work. For the rest of them (I probably have not met ALL) they shouldn’t be working in a care facility. I won’t say names but most “lead Medtechs” are horrible. They do nothing for the residents and basically sit around all day doing nothing. My biggest complaint for this facility is their house nurse stephany. She is by far one of THE WORST nurses in a facility I have ever seen and I’ve worked at quite a few. She is disrespectful, uses foul language, and does not dress appropriately. I have seen her come in and truly thought she was family coming to visit because she gives no appreance of a nurse. She yells at people in front of others and doesn’t give any respect to her employees unless she favors them. I must say I truly regret working for this facility. I worked her as a favor because they can’t keep their facility staffed themselves. It’s blantly obvious why too. I would recommend this facility but because of the bad seeds in the group. I could never trust them. The way they treat people is uncalled for and very unprofessional. If your looking into this facility I would recommend meeting he nurses before hand and seeing for yourself. You will definitely see what I’m talking about. Good luck to all who are interested.
I think it is wonderful. My mom had been living with my family in her own mother in law apt for several years. However she has needed more help/care in the last year then I could accommodate. We were pleasantly surprised with Overland Ct. as a whole. Mom is 86 and excited to have more freedom and opportunities here, as she is very social gal. And it's within walking distance from are House!
