Missoula Health and Rehab may not be the most “glamorous” assisted living facility in town. But they have some of the best staff without a doubt. They are kind, caring and compassionate. What they do on the daily is not easy- and keep in mind they also are in the process of updating equipment and living spaces. My father is a resident- and he loves the staff and environment- Karrie and team are on top his appointments and medications. They also call me directly with any questions or concerns. While it may not be the newest and prettiest facility- your loved one will receive quality care from amazing people.
I have worked at MHR for two years as their Social Worker. It has been the most rewarding, challenging, and wholesome place I have ever been employed with. During this nationwide pandemic, our main focus has remained consistent, keeping our residents safe. Every staff member has stepped up, worked extra hours, provided emotional support and tried to fill the void that this vulnerable population has endured while being away from their families. I am more than proud to be a part of this organization.
The staff at MHR do an excellent job meeting the needs of the residents and family. They take time to listen and work as a team to problem solve. They have an experienced nursing team with a large range of specialties that allows them to treat medical conditions from: cardiac, pulmonary, wounds, orthopedics, diabetes and so on. Health Care Services Group does an excellent job keeping the facility clean and the residents enjoy the 1:1 time while they are cleaning rooms. The dietary department enjoys holding special events for residents, families and friends. MHR also has an excellent therapy team covering seven days a week PT/OT/SLP while also providing outpatient therapy to those who have went home.
