I have had no relative live here, but I called to speak to Mimi about possibly having my mother go to live here and she hung up one me the moment I asked about pricing. This woman doesn't care about much more than the money, please don't even try with this one. Bring your parents/loved ones to a place that they will be looked at as more than just a dollar sign. Just awful

We looked at four care homes for our dad before Mimi's. This home was far superior to the others. The house is clean, pleasantly decorated and built specifically for its purpose. The staff gave superior care and dad was very comfortable in his last days. Highly recommend!

My husband came down with Covid-19 back in July. After that, he was in two hospitals, a skilled nursing facility and a Rehab facility. The after effects of Covid-19 played havoc with his body. This went on for five months. Mimi's Care Home was recommended to me and finally I felt he was getting the best care possible. Mimi, Phil and their staff are truly unbelievable. The minute I walked into this beautiful, immaculate, warm & inviting home, I knew that it was where my husband should be. The care was absolutely wonderful and I was blessed that his last month was with Mimi. Her calm, loving demeanor brought me peace and my husband as well. I highly recommend Mimi's for   the best care for your loved one and true peace of mind for the family.

My mom has been at Mimi's for over a year now. Before the shut down, I was always amazed at how clean and cared for my mom was, 100% of the time. I've been able to FaceTime (they have an iPad for the residents to use) easily with my mom since the shut down and also have "window visits." Mimi runs a tight ship. She has a lot of structure and rules in place, but from what I can see, this enables the best care for all of the residents. I truly appreciate all they have done for my mom. If she were at another facility, I don't think my mom would have lasted through the illnesses Mimi and Loulit nursed her through. Our whole family couldn't believe we were celebrating her 90th birthday this August. Could not recommend this place more!

Where do I start? To say Mimi's Care Home is outstanding isn't enough. My family's personal experience has been nothing shy of amazing. Our mom's medical condition requires patience. understanding and on occasion thick skin. Mimi and her staff provide those skills twenty four hours a day. They all go above and beyond the call of duty to assure our mom's care and well being. If it's even possible, my mom has actually gotten healthier and happier than when she first became a resident. We attribute that to Mimi and her staff. Whether it's the healthy nutrition,  the gentleness  of their hands on approach when needed, the calming environment provided, the unparalleled cleanliness, the necessary communication or the treatment of residents like their own family. It's a recipe for reassurance for a family and  a loved one.In any situation where you're placing a loved one to be cared for, you're nervous and concerned, rightfully so.Fortunately, Mimi is very well known and respected in the medical and caregiver field, and that relieved us.From day one, Mimi's assured us that everything would be ok, she lived up to that promise more than we could've ever imagined.  In final,  when I first met Mimi, she told me " I love what I do!" As she said that, I gazed over all the residents that were milling in the kitchen and family room. They were smiling, seemed happy and clean and groomed. In that moment, I knew we made the right choice.

I highly recommend Mimi's.  Trustworthy, caring, and helpful to the both the patient and the family in a difficult time. Reflection time 18 months after my mother passed. As a retired military officer and former CEO, I've interacted with a lot of truly amazing people over the years and Mimi and her husband are in that group. After four years of in-home care of my 80+ year old mother by my wife and I in our home, Mom's cancer turned worse and required in-home hospice care.  But after 8 weeks she started strong pain medication.  The care supervisor recommended Mimi's.  After meeting with Mimi, she assessed it was about the right time to bring Mom to her.  We hesitated due to the feeling of guilt of not being able to take care of Mom anymore which is normal.  Then Mom fell two nights in a row.  Mimi was so right.  The care she provided to both Mom and my family was so helpful.  Nice facility as well.  Highly recommend you consider using Mimi's.

Mimi's Care Home is outstanding. They provide excellent care. The place is spotless, they prepare healthy food options and are truly caring people. It's a very lovely home with lots of natural light. My mother has been under their care for over a year and even though she's bed ridden, she has no bed sores, is always clean, groomed and dressed.She was previously in one of the supposed best assisted living places in Las Vegas. She was not getting good care there and I truly believe if we left her there she would not be alive today. Moving our mom to Mimi's was the best decision we made. If you have a loved one in need of care, this is the best place in town. Mimi has helped guide us through this difficult process.We visit my mom as often as we can and always find everything to be well maintained and comfy. I just wish we found this place sooner.

Mimi's care home is a wonderful, well managed,  super clean residence for seniors. Mimi is such a nice lady, very caring and loving. You feel right home with brand new amenities,  streaming video at TVs, comfortable AC. Parking. The residents look very happy with the services offered. Also, the safety features on site are also a plus. I highly recommend her services to anyone needing care for their parents or grandparents. The professional staff is rated 5 stars in my opinion.

ANGELS at Mimi's Care Home Mimi and her exceptional staff provide a safe, heavenly place on earth for our incapacitated loved ones. While my sister was receiving hospice services, she was always clean, well-fed and lovingly cared for. Mimi's staff took the time to make sure she was treated with love and respect, and they helped her to maintain her dignity right until the end. As a family member, I was encouraged to ask questions, and I was kept informed of any changes to my sister's health as they occurred. The facility was always spotless, and they offer healthy, well-balanced foods that are cooked fresh every day. Knowing my sister was in a comfortable, loving home environment gave me peace of mind when I could not be with her myself. I will always refer to Mimi and her staff as Angels, and I will never forget how much they all helped my sister during her stay, right up until her passing. Having these Angels guide me through the final stages of her life meant the world to our family, and for that I will be eternally grateful.

Mimis care home was better than Las Ventanas for my aunt.  Mimi, the owner does seem  and appear to care but ultimately its about the dollar with her.  My aunt was calmer in her care so I do give her credit for that.  I just question her ethics BIG time.I let Mimi have the wheel chair (250.00-300.00) along with other medical equipment (cane, 2 shower chairs, and a walker and knee pillow and I guess a gel mattress because that was never offered to be returned.  I let the real-estate agent let her in to take as well as other things to store.  Things went missing. Toilet paper, paper towels, filter for furnace, vacuum cleaner, Marlin Monroe and Elvis postage stamps.  My aunts stuff was on her shelf at the 3055 S Pioneer, Las Vegas NV location.  There was a filter there mixed in with her stuff.  I asked Mimi three times if that was my aunts and she said no.  So she stores one thing that is hers among my aunts stuff?  The house is empty.  I also gave her furniture for her new facility.  When I ask for a list just so I have for my records of what she was going to use and take she said she was not going to take anything.  Then she said she would use it.  Cant get the story straight Mimi, which means you are up to something that is not ethical or on the up and up.Then I got my aunt new hearings aides.  She died 2 1/2 weeks latter.  Mimi told me I should return saying they don't work to get the money back.  She knows my aunt wore them.  She was trying to have me scam Anderson Audiology on Lake mead in Las Vegas.  Like I said I questions her ethics.I do believe that she took the above things from my 93 year old aunt.  She is one of many scammers and unethical people who reside in Las Vegas.Also she uses a real estate lady out of Remax, Janice Colfield who I would avoid.  Mimi recommends her.  The lying and stealing ultimately cost Janice Cofield's listing.

My precious mother was placed in hospice, and I needed to find just the right place for her on a very tight timeline. During my search, one name kept coming up. " If you can get her into Mimi's you won't find a better place," one nurse told me. We were so blessed that Mimi's had an opening for her. My mother lived the last month of her life there, and she was not always the easiest to care for. Mimi and her staff couldn't have been more patient and compassionate in providing her care. Mimi also helped me through that very tough time. She often sat and talked with me while I was in tears with grief. Mimi has a heart of gold and I will always be so grateful. Highly recommended.

Our extremely independent 93 year old grandma had been living in her own apartment in an assisted living. Due to the pandemic, the residents were not allowed out of their rooms, no visitors were allowed in, and meal trays were dropped off in their apartments. The loneliness really started to get to her and from lack of movement, she started to fall. It was clear that her health was failing so she decided to go on hospice.We found Mimi’s Care Home and loved it!!! Due to grandmas independence, she was not always easy to work with for the staff but they cared for her like they would their own family. They sat at the dining room table and ate like a family, she was always up in her wheelchair with the rest of the residents, she was well dressed, clean with her hair combed. They have a beautiful backyard that grandma loved to sit in. We would come to visit and sit in the backyard with her.We had even worked it out with Mimi that a few of our vaccinated family members could come to the backyard to celebrate our grandmas 94th birthday on June 3. She even offered to bake the cake for us. Sadly, our grandma passed away on 5/5/2021 but lived there until her death. I will never be able to thank Mimi and her entire team enough. The love they showed every one of us will never be forgotten. ❤️❤️❤️

My wife and I had looked at 12 or so Group Care Homes to provide care for my 88 year old aunt. Upon our first visit to Mimi's, the home really stood out as one of the cleanest, most well organized, comfortable and convenient homes we visited in Las Vegas. My aunt had limited mobility and was highly dependent on care-giving. The staff was very professional and made every effort to make sure my aunt's needs were met including sensitive personal hygiene issues. While it was hard (read 'sad') for her to leave her home of 30 years, she appreciated how well she was cared for and and the time spent at her 'new home'. We highly recommend you consider Mimi's Care Home to care for your loved one!

What a world to have to dive into, researching Care facilities for your Mom. It's frightening, overwhelming and intimidating, after all this is where your Mom, Dad or any other loved one will reside. MiMi, from the moment I spoke with her on the phone, put me at ease. I felt compassion and ease. When I met She and Phil I was relieved to have a conversation that was not just about the logistics of my moms physical and mental needs, but also the dynamics of family. I then realized that when you are choosing a home for your loved one, my Mom in this case, you are also taking into account your family. You want a home and personell that are understanding and knowledgeable on family dynamics, you want care that is nurturing towards their residents, family and visitors. My Mom was well attended to. She was always clean, well groomed with great hairdos and dressed nicely. These neccesities are so important for the mental state of the residents. MiMi was truly my right hand on ALL accounts. I live in Los Angeles and visited often throughout the month. She, Lou and her Staff worked with me as a team. If they were not the outstanding individuals they are my Moms last months would not have been serene, dignified and peaceful, the way it should be.Thank You...

The care your loved one will get at Mimi's Care Home is amazing. I researched care homes for my 92 yr old father and decided on Mimi's, and I am so glad I did. My father was only at Mimi's Care Home for less than a month when he passed away. My father experienced hallucinations pretty much every night and was not an easy patient to take care of...yet Mimi and her staff were loving, caring, affectionate and very patient. Mimi keeps her place immaculate inside and out and it is beautiful. I think Mimi has the best care home in the Las Vegas area. You will not be sorry.
