Employee Reviews for Legacy Retire
2.75 out of 5 stars. Based on 4 reviews
Overall, employees have mixed reviews about working for Legacy Retire Pros. On the positive side, there is flexibility and the ability to work between departments, as well as covered parking. On the negative side, there is complacency in management, employees are allowed to "no call, no show" and still keep their jobs, and residents are allowed to harass the employees. Advice to management includes hiring and training better managers, letting go of employees who do not follow the mission of the company, creating a safe atmosphere for employees to tell management the negative side of working there, and being more accessible to the employees. Additionally, employees have noted favoritism and disrespect in some departments, as well as low starting pay and lack of raises.Healthcare Nearby

Apparently the lies still continue because we NEVER personally met. You were in quarantine and working from home for three weeks and you still weren't at work when my mother-in-law moved in. You also emailed forms to be signed but we weren't able to open it. Nothing was sent or discussed regarding regulations or rules specific to residents and yes, it is very important to find the right facility for loved ones. I have learned a valuable lesson here. Research first. Oh and let's not forget the chair incident. You told my mother-in-law that she now has a nice chair in her room because the last resident left it behind. She then offered to give you money for it before she moved and you told her no because it belonged to another resident. All because you were mad that she was moving. Extremely petty.
Do not put a parent in this facility. Emely is great until after she gets the contract signed. This is not just my review, but what the residents are dealing with at this facility. Here are a few items:The food is horrible and they have had numerous complaints. The administration will not work with you to move to a less expensive room. They will be happy and have larger more expensive rooms available tho.Just because you signed a contract for a certain price, don't think they won't have reasons to charge you more. They say they have all these activities, nope. And after you move your parent out you won't be getting their mail. Per the post office they've had numerous complaints about this business. They send your mail back as undelivered and it goes back to the sender. There is nothing the P.O. can do and Legacy will not work with you.Just be warned!!
I called Emely Bitanga, the Marketing Director and asked her if she had a room available because I had to move a client from one location to a safer location. Emely worked with me and the family and we got this gentleman a beautiful safe room in a matter of two days. Thank you Emely and Legacy for putting a smile on this mans face and making him feel right at home.
I like rules and regulation and Legacy House of Centennial Hills has all of these in place for the benefit of the residents and the facility. From the management and welcoming desk to the nurse and Med Tech in the memory care portion of the Legacy House, they are kind, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The caregivers pay attention to every detail and need of the residents. The entertainment and physical activities are designed to enhance the environment and to benefit the welfare of everyone. This is truly a wonderful place for our loved ones and a benefit to our community.
Our friend needed to get into assisted-living as soon as possible. Isis and the people at Legacy House were so kind and accommodating they helped us complete the process such an efficient and quick manner. They have looked after our friend making sure that he gets his meals and is comfortable in his new apartment. Can’t say enough about facilities and the staff well worth it.
My mom has been widowed for almost a year and it's been hard on her living alone after 60 years of marriage. We made the decision to move her somewhere that she could be around people and not feel alone, mom loves people and lives to socialize. The staff at Legacy House have been amazing, Isis is a true angel. She made this transition for my mom so easy and helped get my mom settled. My mom talks about her caregiver Susie all the time. Mom has been living at Legacy House for a week and we could not be happier, I now have a peace of mind that she is not alone and has the help close by if she needs it. She just celebrated her 80th birthday and the staff made her feel like a queen. Thank you to everyone at Legacy House. This was the best decision.
What a great place! My mother is elderly, has memory issues, and several other health issues that make it where she needs consistent care. Unfortunately, it was just getting to be too much for her husband (a saint of a man BTW) to do it alone. For obvious reasons, he was hesitant to let go. Then we found Legacy House. The folks there are amazing! Everyone we met ... administrators, meal providers, caregivers, even the food folks were great. Not only did they answer all our questions , they made us feel like this could be home for Mom. most importantly, they made her husband comfortable with moving her into assisted living. The move in was smooth and after a few weeks we remain very happy with our decision. We highly recommend this place!
My family and I have been extremely happy with the decision we have made to move our mother into Legacy house thus far. Isis, the marketing director is amazing and has helped with the transition. She and others have never made us feel dismissed and have always made the time to assist us. They have been able to answer all of our quest questions and address all our concerns. Mom has only been here for a few days but things are going good and the staff has been so helpful and pleasant. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for care for a loved one.
Emely Bitanga, one of the manager of the facility was very accommodating and helpful. She answers all of our questions, helped us with the paperwork for the application for our step dad, tirelessly guided us as to facilitate the admission. Anytime I call, she will answer the call as a response to my inquiry. She was a big help to my step dad admission to the beautiful and homey facility. Thank you Emely.
After considerable research and the visitation of many properties, Legacy House of Centennial Hills was the clear choice. Our father has been there over a month and despite the ongoing pandemic he is extremely happy in his new home. We would highly recommend it here for your loved one.
I worked there and I love everything about legacy I had to leave cause I got my cna license but it’s one of the best places I’ve worked at. I love all my residents and staff and I’m praying legacy keeps Trudy as director she’s awesome. If I could give legacy 1 million stars I would. Andrea Williams former care giver ❤️ I miss legacy sooooo much❤️🙏
We recently moved mom from Atria to Legacy. At 95 she was reluctant to move but SO happy she did. She loves her apartment and the surroundings. She says the food is amazing. Her doggie Micky has settled right in and they are very happy. You can't ask for more than that for your parents. So very happy with everyone at Legacy. Emely has been wonderful. We give them 5 big stars. Holly
Update 2/5/2020I received a call back from Trudy, the asst. Director. She was extremely apologetic for not only failing to return my call yesterday and for the misinformation I had received. She answered all my questions and explained that they were in the process of training employees. She gave me her cell number as well in case I had questions in the future. She was extremely helpful! I've not had a chance to tour the place nor have I spent much time there as my dad just moved in a few days ago. But from what I see thus far, I can tell you that it really is a beautiful facility!
The facility is beautiful, with an array of activities available to residents. The dining room is restaurant quality with a great selection of scheduled, and menu choice items. After interacting with several current residents it was clear this was the best fit for our family member. I found the staff to be VERY friendly, professional and accommodating. They all went above and beyond every step of the way and continue to do so. I highly recommend this facility!
My mom has been at Legacy Centennial Hills for a year and a half now. It really has been great for her. Lots of activities and friends. She particularly enjoys taking the shuttle to go shopping. The staff are really good at what they do. My mom has had a health issue recently and the attention they have given her is above par and has given me peace of mind. They are responsive in communication as well as caring and compassionate. I would like to recognize Jackie, the Med Tech that cares for my mom during the week. Her kind and efficient care for my mom has really been impressive. I know she is in good hands! The whole staff is great. I’m so glad we chose Legacy.
I just moved my dad into Legacy House of Centennial Hills the beginning of July. The ENTIRE staff was so welcoming and eager to make him feel ‘at home’. He is on a special diet and within just a day the dining room staff knew who he was, by name, and how his food needed to be prepared. Moving my dad into an assisted living facility was one of the hardest decisions my siblings and I had to make, but Legacy House made it easier. The facility is new and very nice. His apartment is just the perfect size for him. He was never a fan of Bingo, but now he is! Cindy is awesome at getting the residents involved in activities and there is great entertainment. Leaving my dad to go back to Texas was hard, but I know he is in good hands.
My Mom moved into Legacy House in June. She has met many friends that give her companionship. She has a great time with all the acitivities and entertainment they have in the house. In addition she likes the food they serve. Also she has had a ton of fun decorating her apartment and her red hat. I never thought she would be happy again after my Father passed away in December but thanks to Legacy House and their loving and very caring staff she is happy and well cared for by everyone. Thank you to all the staff and residents at Legacy House for giving my Mom a life again.
