Employee Reviews for Edgewood Healthcare in Boise, Idaho
3 out of 5 stars. Based on 6 reviews
Employees of Edgewood Healthcare in the Boise, ID area generally have positive things to say about the training they receive and the great coworkers and residents. However, many employees have reported a high amount of turnover due to the workload of patient admits, especially in the memory care units. Additionally, employees have reported poor treatment from managers, low pay for the amount of work required, lack of teamwork, many items in disrepair with no effort to repair or replace them, foul language by members of the staff, and a company that was more interested in getting residents in rooms than getting the employees to take proper care of the residents. The new Director is unapproachable, even if an employee is having issues with their manager they couldn’t approach the Director to help get it solved. While the company does provide support to help new employees settle in, the job can be quite over-whelming due to the lack of staff. Additionally, employees have reported a hostile work environment where they only hear the bad and never the good. On the other hand, employees have praised the Executive Director for being nice to work for and the residents for always giving compliments and thank yous.Employee Reviews for Edgewood Healthcare
2.9 out of 5 stars. Based on 408 reviews
Employees generally have positive things to say about working for Edgewood Healthcare. They appreciate the hard work of some of their colleagues and the friendly atmosphere. However, they have some concerns about upper management, who they feel only care about the census, and the lack of competitive pay. They also feel that the company is understaffed and that the residents are not always looked after properly. Employees also note that there is a lot of back-biting and back-stabbing, and that the company is very focused on money and not on the residents or employees. They suggest that management should be more open to other’s thoughts and ideas, pay a living wage, and treat employees with respect.By clicking "Get Exact Costs", you agree to our Partner's Terms of Use.
