Please watch out for the administrator Julie Leibo . She is the former administrator for Lake View Terrace in Boulder City .Back when she was at Lake View - she failed numerous amount of state surveys . She treated her employees like shit . She was very hostile with her employees . She acted more of a dictator to everyone at Lake View. She is very manipulative . She even talk bad about employees, residents and former employees . You know why she is not at lake view? Because chances were that she got fired (not confirmed on that tho ). How do I know this ? ...well I used to work at lake view Terrace back in 2015 . She is the reason that Lake View Terrace went through many turn overs . I lost my other jobs because of Her...I had A nice full time position til she forced me to go from caregiver to dietary . I respectfully declined til she had The then Health services director at the time name Don Holt , which she made him gave me an ultimatum either dietary or I get fired . Don Holt took over Diana Davis at the time . Even when I took the dietary my hours got cut, it costed me full time but it also costed me my other 2 jobs that I was working at ...the reason why I was not at lake view anymore is because Julie set me up . I got suspended over the phone . I went in for a meeting finding termination papers . I never had any disciplinary at all til that point . She and other managers were trying to tell me there were complaints saying I committed misconduct - all that were lies . She had other caregivers to bad talk me and write fake complaints about me saying I was asking for money rides and dates ..again it was all lies . Even when I filed for unemployment - Julie tried to tell the agency that I got fired for misconduct but she failed to prove it which I received the upper hand . Months later after my release from lake view terrace - Don Holt admitted to me that Julie made him take me off the health services or he gets fired . But time went by people were quitting lake view because of her . Eventually I was hearing from others that she quit while others say she got fired ..I want to urge the upper management of college park Rehab to do an investigation on Julie Liebo Personally and professionally you deserve a better administrator Take it from me - she will deny all that is said on here I promise you
IfvO could give zero stars I would. At first glance, it appears nice, clean, organized, pleasant staff. Then the honeymoon ends very fast. No communication with family. I told the 6 or 7 different times I was the emergency contact. Still called other people or didn't call at all. My father in law was taken to the hospital a few times with no notice to the family. I was told he was of sound mind and they didn't need to call us. Yet at first I told them to call me about anything, especially his health. Keep in mind, he was paralyzed and had no use of his hands to call himself. But they never said, we won't call because he can make his own decisions. They said of course we will call. No problem. Then I was told that because he's on Medicaid, his bank accounts need to stay below a certain level or they cut off his Medicaid. They told me they needed to "gift " out his money. Now, 8 months after his death, Medicaid is coming after us for $3000. Of money this facility gave us. Never once said Medicaid will want that back. THEN, he contracted covid, no one ever told us. Didn't even call when he was in severe respiratory distress. He died 12 hours later. Sorry, I know covid is bad but he had to of had it for a while because I don't know of anyone getting it and dying 12 hours later. Just a piece of shit place. No communication, no care or concern. One person says one thing another say another. After he died, they were kind enough to deliver it. But no covid protocol in place. His stuff was not wiped down as they claimed. The delivery driver was not wearing PPE so he was potentially exposed to covid also.
College park rehab I give 5 stars I went there when trying to figure out where I would put my grandmother after her 10 day stay in hospital. I can assure you I went to many rehabs. My grandmother is my treasure. The intake administration was quick to take me in tour with no appt give me all the information I needed. I looked for patients being happy place being clean an how attentive nurses were being. .since i dodnt have appt. I will say everything i saw was real and it was a great experience. I was walked thru everything the building was super clean .thank you college park rehab for giving me a great experience in a time i was very anxious.
To be honest I would probably give them a four but they deserve a better average than what they have right now. The facility itself is fairly nice; it's well kept and clean and the rooms are overall very nice. The place is a bit lack luster in decor and personality but it's not too bad and the facilities could stand a bit of an upgrade (for example the TVs in the room are older and laughably small for the wall they are mounted). Overall from a complete appearance standpoint I would probably give them a 3.5 or 4. If they slapped a new coat of pain, hung a few pictures or paintings, and brought in some plants this could easily be a 5. My husband came here as the last step of rehab after a severe case of pneumonia hospitalized him and wreaked havoc resulting in a month long hospital stay. Admittedly he can be a handful at times and when he was initially brought he was frustrated, upset, and scared. The first night was rocky, the hospital was a bit slow in getting them his prescriptions and stuff and the transport company left a lot to be desired. All that said the place is wonderful, the staff are all very sweet, the doctors and nurses are great and everyone is very helpful and accommodating. I can only speak to the rehab wing but he has been receiving excellent care from a great group of people. Admittedly they are a bit disorganized, which is pretty much industry standard for regal abs nursing facilities, but other than that they are great. Each time I am there they make a point to come say hi and keep me updated on his progress and have really gone the distance to keep my husband feeling welcome and cared for. These facilities are the last place you would ever want to take a loved one but when the need arises this one comes highly recommend by me.
This is the worst place to take care of people.. they don't care of the patients they lay them stay there no bath no diaper change and you complained to the director she does not care .. I don't know how this place still open ... my family member olmos lost he's life .. here ... if someone knows how to investigate this place and can do something about this.. this are humans needed help .. have some mercy..
This is by far the worst place you can take your loved ones. If you're not looking for them to live long take them HERE. My aunt was there for 3 weeks and near death when we had to come and have the paramedics take her to the hospital because she had no food, fluids, or her meds. They just let her lay in the bed never bathed, never washed up in a pamper. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE PLEASE THEY DON'T CARE**
This place is not your ordinary nursing home. Most of the nurses, CNAs and therapists truly care about the patients. I say most because they have issues with employees not showing up for work which puts more stress on others. The result is poor service. When everyone shows up for work, the service is great.
I hope this place isn't still open. On the 2nd day here, my father fell and hit his head AGAIN after his stroke. No one bothered to tell me. When I arrived to visit I couldn't find him. I went to the nurses station and asked where he was,no one would give me an answer A caregiver saw how worried I was getting and pointed the heard nurse. The nurse got extremely upset and started yelling at her for having pointing her out to me.Annoyed she wouldn't tell me the circumstances surrounding his fall. As I was leaving my husband and I saw and older lady in a wheelchair. She was facing the wall TOPLESS. I told the nurse and she started laughing at her.If you hate your family member and want them to suffer ,,, you found the right place. This is a disgusting ,depressing place that employs negligent and incompassionate staff.
