Care Staff Rating
In the short period of time I have been at the center I have been very impressed by the welcome. The Evergreen Dementia unit has several families that stopped to tell me right away how caring and compassionate the staff are. All the staff are smiling and ask how they can help.
My mother was a patient at Westwood for six weeks, one week on unit one and five weeks on the dementia unit. She received compassionate, respectful and skilled care. The staff was friendly and helpful. The furniture needs updating, something that could be easily done by Genesis. Finding such wonderful staff is not so easy to do. Thank you for all you you do everyday.
I would like to say that my family and I had a very difficult time when my father-in-law passed away. they had packed up his room and all of his belongings without our permission something that we wanted to do for closure they lost belongings of my my father-in-law's. Faith through personal belongings in the trash which would include my mother-in-law's pendant urn her ashes were found in the dumpster I do not believe they take care and respect for the residence inn families I think that they lack a lot of respect in honesty it is my hope that no other family has to go through the horrific mess that we had to deal with with this nursing facility
I went today and this place was absolutely disgusting. It took nurses 1 hr to respond to the nurse call button and over 20 minutes to respond to the fall alarm. No one was friendly or helpful when trying to navigate the place. I would not trust these people to take care of anything never mind my loved ones! PLEASE IF YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY SEND THEM ANYWHERE ELSE!
