I have been getting to know everyone around here for about 10 months now. I have a client that lives here and the environment is friendly. The staff take the time to listen to the cares and concerns of the residents. They are all friendly and professional and have dealt with this whole quarantine very well. I would definitely recommend this place for a friend or family member.
We were instructed to write a review "of this place". It is not just a place, --it is our home. We are happy here because neighbors are friendly, staff and service personnel are helpful. We have planned activities led by a caring activity person, we are independent and come and go as our ability permits. The negative reviews, we think, have to do with personal health issues and this stage of life. Life can be difficult as we loose abilities, have aches and pains and become more and more dependent on others. We would like new carpet in the halls, beautiful landscaping, immaculate care of all areas of the building and grounds. In the mean time, we will settle for comfortable living space, planned activities, good friends and a friendly atmosphere created by good and kind staff members.
INDEPENDENT LIVINGI have lived here for 4 years and am very satisified. My apartment is roomy and comfortable. I have very congenial neighbors and the staff is great! They are all my good friends. It will be good to be able to use our nice meeting room, the exercise room and the activity room once this covid is behind us. We do make good use of the Library and its great to be back in the dining room once more.
In response to the person who was horrified that Sunny Ridges doors were not locked. The majority of our building is independent living, the residents come and go as they would in any apartment. Please come in and tour the facility so you can become better acquainted with the building. Sunny Ridge staff are very caring and concerned about all the people that live there, be it independent living, assisted living or nursing/rehab.
Horrible facility... I mean horrible. Tonight I found one of there patients out in the road. She had fallen over and was almost hit several times. They don’t lock the doors and there’s not enough staff. I was able to walk into the facility through a side door looking for a staff member and there was nobody. I then called the cops cause after calling them they couldn’t help us and they didn’t know if they were missing anyone. Don’t put your loved ones in this home. Tons of other great homes but this one is horrible.
