Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
Independent Living residents are independent. For detailed information about the Assisted Living nursing staff and state regulations, etc., please contact LaTrona Fulbright, Assisted Living Administrator at AL@SaintAnnRetirementCenter.com
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
Independent Living must be able to self-evacuate. Both first floors are our tornado shelters. Assisted Living staff go room to room to evacuate residents. Saint Ann is not a locked down facility. However, all ancillary doors are locked to outside entry and a fob system is used by staff and residents for entry. The two main entries are unlocked during the day and locked overnight.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
Each resident is assigned a resident ambassador to help in the transition period.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Transportation to and from doctor appointments, within a six-mile radius, is available on Tuesdays & Thursdays between 8:00 – 3:00. Also, any activities requiring transportation.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Both dining rooms are sit-down served meals. Independent – 3 meals 6 days/week & 2 meals Sundays & major holidays. Assisted – 3 meals 7 days/week.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
Residents can go to any staff member, including the Campus Director.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
Independent Living residents are independent, but they can come to any staff member for help/assistance. Staff can contact the residents, their POA, or emergency contacts; and vice versa.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
Respite care is available in Assisted Living, one month minimum, $5800/month.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Small dogs, cats, fish, and birds are welcome. All residents, or their family are responsible for the animals.
