Review based solely on the Assisted Living section. Extremely poor care under the auspices of "care for resident" which is far from true. Solely interested in profitability with horrible personal care. My Mom was saved before more harm but left with sores on her bottom and a large skin patch ripped off. Covid restrictions used as excuse to increase fees and nickel and dime us to death. Wheel chair to transport within, to doctor visits and outside assessments is in horrible condition with broken foot rest and no rubber on the wheels thus no ability to apply break or hold in position. I have pictures to support all this. I told them I enlisted a case manager to help me understand care needs and I immediately got a 30 day eviction notice in spite of state eviction mandate. We were given 30 days to vacate during Christmas/New Year when availability of care housing is even worse than other time of the year. Eviction because they felt they could not provide proper care? Even simple first aid was referred to outside clinic as nursing staff can't even give simple first aid. Contact me for an ear full. STAY AWAY from this horrible excuse for care if you value the well being of yourself or loved one. Strictly profit motivated with poor attitude from clueless ED and RN over care of the resident. ate-oh-ate niner tree ate ate niner fore niner
I am so grateful for Regency at Hualalai and for all the wonderful angels that work there and made possible for my 92 years old mother to stay for a couple of days ( respite care) at this wonderful place.Andrina,Brenda,Tehani,Dion,Jessie,Camille ( spell ? works with Andrina)...So many to name, probably missing a few... I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for making Mom so comfortable and cared for. She had a great time and enjoyed all the activities offered during her stay.It is also such a relief for my husband and myself knowing that we can take a few days off by ourselves while Mom is in excellent hands. Our anniversary is coming up in October and for sure Mom will be a guest at the Regency again :)With gratitude always,Pauline SultAugust 2016
