Both my parents were in their memory care for 3 weeks before coming down with COVID. I was not even aware that they had tested positive for COVID until they were taken to the hospital and the hospital told me. My dad was also given medicine without my approval. I think they like to “dope” up their residents so all they want to do is sleep all day. Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t a good one. I think there were many good employees there (reason for the 1 star), but the management is not good. They are super communicative when they are selling the place to you and then all communication stops unless they want more money.
My mother has been a resident at Quail Creek in Memory Care since June, 2020. I can't say enough about the staff, how attentive they are and how nice the facility is. My Mom settled in quickly and obviously feels at home. She loves participating in the all activities they provide. The staff communicates with me with regular updates. After visiting a number of facilities, I feel confident we've made the right decision with Quail Creek.
