Entrance Fee and Monthly Fee Details
Our Entrance Fee and Monthly Fee are determined by the size and location of the homes. To give you a range, we have:
- 1- or 2-bedroom apartments starting at $135,000 entrance fee with a monthly fee of $1,000.
- 1 or 2-bedroom villa homes starting at $179,000 entrance fee with a monthly fee of $1,100.
If there is a second occupant in any apartment or villa, the fees are as follows:
- Second person entrance fee: $8,200.
- Second person monthly fee: $210.

Transportation for doctor appointments is readily available, along with multiple weekly bus trips for shopping, facilitating ease of access to essential services for our residents.
Dining Experience
Residents in the New Life admission program, who are truly independent, have access to full kitchens in their accommodations. Additionally, they can opt for meal delivery and enjoy meals at our cafe.

Our Resident Services department is the first point of contact for any complaints or issues. If unresolved, the matter is escalated to the director for further action.

Residents have the ability to age in place, with various living options available. The Moose Life program has no waitlist, while the New Life program has waitlists for villas and two-bedroom apartments. However, a variety of one-bedroom apartment floorplans are available.
Retirement Communities like Moosehaven
Retirement Communities like Moosehaven are designed to allow residents the ability to age in place. Each community is structured differently in the levels of care provided, but essentially, residents live independently in individual homes or apartments and have access to healthcare accommodations on the premises. Care is available only to residents of the community and not to the general public.
Moosehaven operates as such a community and offers a comprehensive approach to aging in place. Multiple levels of care are provided on campus. Moosehaven provides nurse on call care and a physician staffed clinic, enhanced living, rehabilitation services (physical, occupational and speech therapy), dementia/memory care, skilled nursing, and Hospice care exclusively for residents.
Congregate Living in the Moose Life program
Allows residents to maintain daily activities without assistance or supervision.
Enhanced Living in both the Moose Life and New Life
Provides a higher level of safety for residents during therapy, recovery, or daily living. This includes medication monitoring, meal preparation, additional companionship, or general assistance in daily activities.
Skilled Nursing Care in both the Moose Life and New Life
Is performed by a skilled nursing staff to manage, observe, or evaluate your care. This may be a long-term care status for residents, or just during a period of rehabilitation. Therapy services are provided at all levels of care and may be covered under Medicare.
Hospice Care in both the Moose Life and New Life
Is specialized care designed to provide support during a terminal illness. Care is focused on the comfort and quality of life enabling the resident to be alert and pain-free.

Qualifications for the Moose Life Program
- Available for single entry or as a married couple.
- Must be a Moose member.
Steps for admission
- Complete an application.
- Complete a medical review.
- Review by admission’s committee.
- Application process can take 5 weeks to 5 months depending on how quickly we receive all required documentation.
Costs of Program
If approved, resident will transfer all assets and resources into a Moosehaven Retirement Account. Monies will be used for resident’s costs of residence including housing, meals, healthcare including pharmacy, activities, transportation, glasses, dentures, and hearing aids if needed. All needs will be provided. If resources do not cover the costs for the resident, they are not asked to leave. The additional costs of the resident will be provided by the fraternity.
