My parents transitioned from independent living to Harmony Hills a little over a month ago. They did not want to move into assisted living; however my father's memory care team deemed it necessary. We searched high and low around the Treasure Valley for a facility my parents could call home. I can't say enough positive things about this facility. The staff is A-MA-ZING! Keri, the director, Jessica, the assistant director, Rochelle the nurse, O.G the chef, and Michelle the activities director; along with the rest of the care givers, have made this difficult transition a positive experience. The facility is beautiful! It looks like Joanna Gaines designed it herself. The food is soooo good. Even my little boys love to visit their grandparents! Children are welcomed and encouraged to visit. There's a 24 hr ice cream parlor. The memory care suites look exactly like assisted living, and every room is private! The staff treat us like family! Love, love, love this place. My parents are very happy there!
We placed our sweet Mom here after touring 10 facilities in the valley. The facility is pretty and they all come across as very caring. Please do not let that fool you. Our mom wasn't even there for a year before passing away, not from Covid but from multiple falls during Covid, when no visitors were allowed in the facility. Even when she fell and we asked to see her, we were told No. They had over 5 falls within 1 month. The last fall our mom had was July 21st at 8pm. She shattered her hip, had a brain hemmorage and we later found out from the ER Dr that her other leg had been broken at least a month prior, with ZERO care. All this during Covid with no regard for their patients or family. I DO NOT recommend this facility or any of its staff. Please be very careful when selecting a facility for your loved one, especially in the Memory Care area.
Thank you Harmony Hills for all the wonderful care you have given to Mom! We so appreciate all that you have done to assist us through this process. Your staff is warm, caring and took the best care of Mom. If anyone out there is needing a place for Mom or Dad, we highly recommend Harmony Hill!
