Employee Reviews for HarborChase in Coral Springs, Florida
4 out of 5 stars. Based on 3 reviews
Employees of HarborChase in the Coral Springs, FL area generally have positive experiences. They report feeling well-treated and enjoy being able to assist people and receive love in return. The work environment is slightly fast-paced and there is room for improvement in terms of management working with employees and their needs. The clinical team has great teamwork, but there is a lack of management. Employees learn something new every day, such as how to change daily routines, what to feed people with disabilities, and how to prepare a table. The coworkers are generally nice and informal, and the most enjoyable part of the job is serving the residents. The main downside is the rules and regulations.Employee Reviews for HarborChase

My gam-gam lives here. Every time I visit her she won't stop talking about all the great care she receives at this facility and how wonderful the employees are. It is always very clean and everyone is very helpful and professional. Thank you for taking such great care of my gam-gam.
I can't say enough about this facility and the care they provided for my Grandmother. The entire staff was always looking out for her and providing her compassionate care and assistance. They were always available to take my calls or to proactively call me when Grandma was in distress. I always felt they had a close eye on her and were partners with me in her care. As you walk around the facility, there are lots of staff talking to the residents, hugs, smiles and showing genuine interest in their well-being. THANK YOU, Harbor Chase, I am most appreciative!
I noticed that when I wrote my review of Harbor Chase I was the ONLY review and I see now that there are 3 other reviews written a day or so after mine, and 2 of the 3 are 1st time Yelp reviewers, all giving a 5 star rating to Harbor Chase. It demonstrates to me that Harbor Chase seems to be trying to raise their rating by doing this rather suspicious form of damage control.I can not change the fact that my past experience with Harbor Chase was so unpleasant, but I will say that currently their Dir is communicating effectively with us.
I just want to point out that the FIRST review, which was negative, was on 5/12/16. This place had NO reviews prior to that. Note that ALL the other reviews, all 5 star, have all been within DAYS of that review. Suspicious? I think they are doing some review seeding as damage control.I have toured this facility. It's ok and it's got an EEC license, unlike many, but it is NOT ok to solicit reviews in order to polish your image.
This assisted-living facility has some exceptional caregivers who demonstrate compassion and commitment. Little things like roses for the women on Mother's Day special brunches and family events have really distinguished Harbor Chase. I'm always impressed at the variety in the menu and the accommodations they make for resident's special requests. The staff is very professional and compassionate. I can't say enough about how much they go above and beyond including the sponge baths because of the shower phobia and fear of slipping. The therapy dog is a big plus and very cute.
My uncle has been at HarborChase of Coral Springs for 3 years now. I am continually impressed by the professionalism, warmth, and kindness from Veronica and her entire staff. The nurses and care givers are undeniably amazing, the administration team is second to none, and the dining room and activities personnel are truly caring and wonderful. I am in awe of how much they do and how there is no limit to their commitment to care for everyone who resides there. My entire family feels so blessed that my uncle is under the care of these absolute heroes.
I normally do not write reviews, but I felt I needed to do so. Harbor Chase is a wonderful place. The handling of my mother-in-law during the height of the pandemic was exceptional. This must have been an extremely difficult time. The executive director Veronica is wonderful. She makes time to discuss with us her condition and what was going on at the property. She always appears to have a handle on everything going on.I cannot begin to thank the staff enough for all they have done and continue to do. I would highly recommend Harbor Chase to anyone looking for a place for loved ones.
I could spend hours of why not to leave your loved one at this facility. It starts from the Director Veronica who has absolutely no knowledge of how to run a facility, have compassion for the families or residents that reside at this facility.I wanted a place for my mom to feel safe. Her oxygen was continously left on 0..and if i wasnt there she would have died. The director nor anyone from the facility never reached out to us when they sent my mom to a rehab center and she contracted a virus and was bed ridden. My mother walked out of Harbor Chase and came back in a wheel chair. She was never the same.Shame on a facility for caring about rooms to fill instead of the integrity of the loved one they are putting here.Run don't walk from this place!Morvia, the animal from the front desk Amethyst should all be fired!!
If I can put a zero star I would.Front Desk: zero starVeronica: minus 10Veronica Yestrumskas never ever has the time to return calls or emails. We paid TOP $$$ to put a loved one during these very difficult circumstances. COVID 19 has stopped us from visiting our mom. We have called several times to speak to Veronica regarding our moms health etc,. She never called back or reach out about our concerns. Before we sign in she was on top, right after we paid she became MIA.We will never make that mistake again.
THE FRONT DESK CLERK IS RUDE ILLITERATE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. SHE CURSES AT YOU VERY LOUD WHILE IN FRONT OF RESIDENTS THE NURSES, STAFF AND MANAGER ON DUTY HEARD HER AND DID NOTHING.... THIS IS A PLACE WHERE PEOPLE HAVE THERE LOVED ONES AT. I RECORDED HER AND WILL POST THE VIDEO AND SEND IT IN TO CORPORATE. THEY ALL NEED TO BE FIRED...READ THE OTHER REVIEWS THIS EXACTLY WHY THEY ONLY HAVE 3 STARS. SHE DOES NOT NEED TO WORK WITH THE PUBLIC NOR DOES SHE NEED TO BE AROUND ANYONE ELDERLY.
I was just driving up the street on my way to work and I saw on of the residents of this facility walking by herself with a wheelchair IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET. This street is notorious for cars speeding up and down and there were 5 cars behind her. She was confused and disoriented. I asked her if she lived at the facility and she said she didn't know where she lived. I find it HORRIFIC that this resident has escaped passed whatever security they are supposed to have and was in the middle of the street where she could have been hit by any car. I called them to come outside because I knew she must have lived there and they immediately recognized her as Paulene. Please, please, please people do your research before leaving your loved ones at one of these facilities. Absolutely absurd, I hope and pray that her family sees this review as I'm sure they will not tell them.
