Unfortunately my mother has not had a good experience there. She was admitted for her blood pressure and the staff has not been able to get it under control. The therapy sessions have not been beneficial either. Just today the nurse almost gave my mom the wrong medication. My mom was the one who questioned it and then the nurse came back with the right medication but did not apologize. They are also not giving her the blood pressure medication on time either. It is 2-4 hours late and they only check it in the morning and afternoon. One would think if she was admitted for her blood pressure, then the blood pressure check would be a priority; but it is not. They leave her sitting in her chair for 4 hours or more and do not check on her often. Even after hitting the call button it has taken 2 hours to actually get to her room. I understand that all these facilities are short staffed but wrong medication and non timely medication is not excusable.

My Mom was here for long time the nurses and all the stuff are veré compassionate with my Mom and all the residents, they serve healthy and good food, instalation are in good conditions, but the building needs an update carpets very old and the halls are dark, but anyway I give thanks for their good service and compassionate service, unfortunately my Mom passed away due to diabetes complications, nurses and medical personal always are alert about our love ones inside. So I give four stars.

Terrible place to work at the moment. There's no communication, team work, accountability, patient focused care. House keeping is a joke, maintenance don't ever know where they are. Too many residents for 1 person. You will get burnt out quick if you are someone who is a hard worker and truly cares about others.Management is just disappointing. Keep the bad ones drive out the good. They have no organization there, many are clueless and pawn work onto the next person because they are to lazy to actually take care of a patient or they don't know how. They need to get booted out or re-trained something because those residents they are the ones getting hurt and they only act like they care when someone is watching."Treat your resident as if the were your own loved one" if only it was that wayI hope one day they will pull themselves together and actually be "good samaritan" like they once were. but right now no. It's like Health Cares Worst nightmare. Don't send loved ones until management changes.

We have found Good Samaritan Las Cruces to filled with amazing people who truly care about their residents in every department. We are very selective in who we choose as partners and we've been very happy with our partnership with the Independent Living side of the Las Cruces Campus. They go above and beyond for their people! We highly recommend them!

Horrible place to work, very rude people. Don’t come apply for work here, people have medical problems and they don’t except certain things because of tests they do. Place should be shut down completely Uncalled for people who are qualified should be able to get a job and not have any problems.

A resident was sick. They removed the tablecloths and ceramic dishes and served the rest with badly prepared food on paper plates. For what they charge, they need to improve the food quality and preparation. They once gave my mother half a hot dog, no bun as her lunch. The pancake was stiff and not warm for another meal. She could not cut through the chicken cutlet with plastic utensils, much less chew on it. They don't assist with prescriptions. The staff are friendly, but far less helpful than I'd expected.
