The Odd Fellows, an altruistic society organized for the purpose of giving aid to those in need and pursuing projects for the benefit of all mankind, founded Fairview in 1892. The Odd Fellows promote the ethic of reciprocity and charity, founded on pillars of friendship, love and truth. Even today, our organization is guided by those three pillars.Rehabilitation
Our post-acute program provides the best inpatient rehabilitation therapy following surgery or a debilitating illness. It's highly reputable, positioning within the top 10% of nursing homes based on its overall rating, significantly outweighing the state average. Moreover, the home also excels in health inspections, flaunting a sterling 5-star rating, placing it in the top 10% of facilities in this area, with a score far above the state average. The Fairview boasts a 5-star quality rating as well, placing it in the top 20% of facilities in terms of quality. This quality rating, too, is higher than the state average, reflecting the high standards it maintains.Staff Ratings
Fairview Nursing Home boasts an impressive 4-star staff rating, the second highest achievable. In fact, it ranks within the top 40% of facilities for nursing aid staffing hours per resident per day, providing 2.38 hours, which notably surpasses the state average of 2.14 hours. However, Fairview falls in the bottom 50% for LPN staffing hours, providing slightly less than the state average with 0.8 hours per resident per day, compared to the state average of 0.82. It recovers its performance with its RN staffing hours, standing among the top 20% of facilities by offering 0.97 hours, markedly over the state's average of 0.72. Besides, it is in the top 30% for both licensed staffing hours and physical therapist staffing hours with 1.77 hours and 0.1 hours per resident per day respectively, both of which are higher than the state averages of 1.55 and 0.09. Overall, Fairview Nursing Home excels in delivering quality care and attention to its residents.Covid Data

In particular, its resident vaccination rate stands at a commendable 80.0%, significantly surpassing the state average of just 68.5%. Not stopping there, Fairview also maintains a robust staff vaccination rate of 38.7%, well above the state average staff vaccination rate of 24.1%. The Fairview Nursing Home is ranked exceptionally high in quality care, boasting a 5-star quality measure rating. Despite being in the top 30% of facilities concerning the percentage of residents who receive antipsychotic medication, with a rate of 7.98%, it remarkably falls below the state average of 16.09%. Unfortunately, The Fairview finds itself in the lower half of facilities regarding the percentage of residents given a flu vaccine, even though its 96.67% still surpasses the state's 92.71% average. The nursing home is also in the lower 30% of facilities relative to the number of residents experiencing one or more falls with major injury. Its 5.13% rate for such instances, while higher than the state’s percentage of 3.44%, needs improvement. Lastly, although the percentage of residents given the pneumococcal vaccine at 95.44% is significantly higher than the state average of 83.32%, the Fairview is still placed in the bottom 40% of facilities in this item. These insights suggest a dynamic range in its healthcare provision, emphasising the quality of care alongside necessary areas for enhancements.Emergency and Hospitalization Quality Measures
The Fairview Nursing Home boasts impressive rankings in several critical health metrics. It places among the top 30% of facilities regarding the frequency of hospitalizations, with 1.11 hospitalizations per 1,000 days, significantly lower than the state average of 1.93.
