Employees of United Church Homes generally have positive things to say about the company. They appreciate the helpful and responsive team, the effort to make resident life appealing and successful, and the caring attitude towards employees and the community. However, they note that the pay is on the lower side and supervisors can appear to be stretched thin with multiple roles. Employees also report issues with broken equipment, bed bugs, lack of aides, bad food, and poor benefits. Advice to management includes to care more about loyal staff, hire more staff, pay CNA's what they're worth, walk the communities and meet employees and residents, and take employee suggestions and ideas more seriously.
