Cascadia of Nampa has done a good job of taking care of my husband. The administration and staff are very caring and do their best to take care of the residents. They are doing their best to balance the needs of the residents with the COVID restrictions. It is a difficult situation for everyone involved. They struggle with being able to keep the direct care staff numbers high enough, but that is a problem nationwide. Unfortunately, this translates into long wait times for the residents after they have pushed their call lights. But they do the best they can with the help they have.
I was there for 7 days after a knee replacement. The staff is very laid back. The nurses, well one named Ann in particular, should not be in this kind of business. She treated my like I was a burden. When I needed my ice man filled and put on my leg, she says "that's not my job." I was supposed to be getting my pain meds as needed, and when I would buzz someone, the assistant came and told me they would get the nurse. The nurse is the one who does meds. It took 3 times and 1 hour later to get a nurse. The aides are very sweet, especially Rosalinda. Many times there would be a gathering at the desk area and I could hear peoples buzzers going on and on. I hated it there, They ignore the patients and people are in such pain there. I do have to say they have an excellent Physical and Occupational therapy group. They took good care of me. Especially Fresca. She helped with showering when no one else would. If you have a loved one that needs recovery, DON'T take them here. If you need just Physical Therapy, go outpatient just for that. Don"t stay here!!!! You will be sorry!!

the worst care in this facility, my dad was in there for 2 months, never received the care he needed also the room very dirty, there was aunts everywhere, i always left messages and no body responded to me, the only good thing about this facility is there therapy services that it, very disappointed
When rehab or 24 hour care is needed for you or your loved one, Cascadia of Nampa offers peace of mind. There is not going to be a perfect place for your loved one, not even at home with 1:1 care but I feel the boxes that need to be checked when choosing during the stressful times when care is needed, can be checked here. During the past 2 1/2 years, my two family member's needs have changed and increased and I still feel we made the right choice.
When we were trying to find a place for my parents, we went to Cascadia in Nampa. It was a very nice looking building on the outside and looks completely different on the inside not like the normal places that you would go to, it looked more structured like business then it was like nursing home.It looked nice.Mike with Admissions showed us around to look at different rooms to get an idea even said look on the menu choose anything you want and you can see what the food tastes like. It wasn't bad.Mike is a great guy. He will spend the time to listen to the needs of the family and help anyway he can to try to help facilitate your needs. Give him a call and see if he can help your family like he did with ours.
Cascadia of Nampa is the type of organization where you feel comfortable. I have been able to interact with the team here and love the "feel" of the environment. The team cares for the residents as individuals who have personal needs. I would recommend anyone to have their rehab here or for a family member that needs long term care for personal needs.
When My son in law had a stroke he was admitted to Cascadia of Nampa for 30 days of in patient Rehab. When he was discharged from the hospital he could not even sit up on his own. He needed assistance with everything from showering, dressing, transferring and walking. After 30 days at Cascadia , he was able to do all cares on his own thanks to the amazing therapists . He had extensive speech,PT and OT .Our family is very grateful for the care that he received at Cascadia . He is now walking on his own and driving again, Such a blessing we are forever grateful for everyone from the Nursing staff and the therapy department .
