My mother has been a resident of Brandywine Fenwick Island for 2.5 years. We have been very pleased with the quality of the care and services my Mom receives at Brandywine.  This is a clean, well-kept, modern facility that is a supportive environment. Staff are exceptionally engaging and caring of the residents. One of the great strengths of this environment is the nursing leadership and nursing support. As my mothers medical needs have changed, the leadership and nursing team has thoughtfully and skillfully transitioned her to a higher level of personal care without having to leave the facility. There are a multitude of therapeutic and social activities available throughout for the benefit of all the residents. The gifted day-to-day care managers coupled with the exceptional nursing support give me a high degree of confidence that my mother is well cared for and in a safe environment. As I live nearby and am actively engaged in my mothers care on a daily basis, I can personally attest to Brandywine's regionally unique status as a top tier care provider of elderly care services.  I am grateful for both the care they provide my mother and their patience with and support of me personally in my mothers health journey.

My mother has been a resident of Brandywine's memory care unit for three years. I just can't say enough about this facility. She's treated wonderfully by everyone, especially her caregiver, Kison. Also, Chris, Bethany, and Jamie are employees in her unit and they are upbeat and cheerful. All of the employees seem to know all of the residents' names, and that's pretty impressive. I'm so happy to have found this great facility, and it's only two miles from where she lived before she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. There are so many activities scheduled, she is never bored. I did visit and research other places before deciding on Brandywine, and I'm very happy I made the choice I did. She is also happy there, and I love seeing her happy when I visit. Family activities are scheduled regularly, and the dining room facility is basically a restaurant with a menu...families are welcome to join residents for a meal, and we have done that often. Do yourself a favor and visit Brandywine if you have the need for assisted living.

Right from the first moment we arrived with my Dad we were met with warm, caring, friendly people.  The facility is quite lovely, it looks like a fancy resort hotel. His micro efficiency is just perfect for him. It has an enormous bathroom with a step in shower equipped with a shower seat. His room has a refrigerator with a freezer, it is not your standard dorm room size it is bigger. It also has a sink and counter space. The rest of the facility has some very nice amenities, there is a pool and a movie theater room. They offer lots of activities to choose from daily. The dining room is set up like a elegant restaurant, every day residents can choose what they would like from a menu. There are usually 2 main choices and along with items available all day. The residents sit with their friends and the conversation seem lively. I know my father will be taken care of quite well.

Brandywine Fenwick is the best and I cannot give enough positive comments about what we have experienced in the 8 years at Brandywine. Wonderful caregivers, nurses, maintenance, events and most important management of all the employees. As I constantly say to my friends and everyone is the reason my parents have lived this long is because of the care they receive at Brandywine.

The representatives were extremely knowledgeable and professional in providing guidance and information. The entire staff of this facility, from administrative personnel, nursing staff, and all the general employees are courteous, kind, caring and professional. Since living at The Brandywine my Brother's health has had exceptional improvement in his health. He has complimented the staff to us repeatedly. We would also like to compliment the the entire staff on their handling of the Corona Virus, while many restrictions are in place the staff has been most helpful in providing accommodations for deliveries and such. To their credit no deaths have been reported!

My mother has been a resident at Brandywine Living at Fenwick Island for almost three years. She is in the memory care unit and our fear as a family was giving up control of her care, and having her live among strangers. We were pleased to learn that she quickly became part of the Brandywine family. She is treated with kindness and dignity from everyone. We are especially fond of her caregiver, Kison, because he is gentle and sweet, and mom is very comfortable with him. We also learned just as quickly that we're consulted and/or informed with whatever is going on with mom. I researched and visited many facilities, and am happy to say that Brandywine has been the perfect choice!

My Mom has been living at Brandwine at Fenwick for a little over 2.5 years now. I can't be more thankful for the level of care provided by the entire Brandwine team. Whether it be the front desk, maintenance, dining room, housekeeping, nursing, or activities staff, or anyone else for that matter, the service level and quality of care is outstanding. They are consistently knowledgable, responsive, and communicative. In particular, my Mom has faced two major health issues while in residence and I can not be more grateful for the team.

Moved my parents to Brandywine just before Thanksgiving and the experience has been wonderful. They both were reluctant to move from their assisted living community in NY but are settling in nicely. My mother suffers from alzheimers and my father from dementia and we have seen improvements in both of them in just the few weeks they have been there. The staff is wonderful and the facility is gorgeous! Lots of activities and the meals are great as well. Thanks to all!!

My name is Carol McCloud. I am the president of the Barefoot Gardeners Club in Fenwick Island, DE. On June 25, 2016 our Club held a Flower Show at Brandywine Senior Living. From day one, when we first approached Brandywine to hold our show there, they were so wonderful to work with. We started with Kathy and ended up working with Christine & Jeannie. There was nothing too small or too large of a request. Anything we asked they would bend over backwards to make sure that they took care of it. The entire staff had the nicest personalities. You can tell they love what they do. Many of the people who attended the show stated that it was the "perfect" venue for our flower show. The judges even stated that in their comments to us. The facility was not only gorgeous, the location was perfect, the rooms were perfect and the staff was perfect. We enjoyed working with all of them. One of the highlights of the day was the display that we had from the residents. They truly enjoyed being a part of our show. I personally had a wonderful time working with the staff and became good friends with each of them, especially Christine & Jeannie. Looking forward to working with them in the future for other events. As a matter of fact we'll be using the facility in November. I can't wait! Carol McCloud

My garden club recently presented our Standard Flower Show "Coasting Along" at Brandywine. I cannot praise the entire staff enough for the cooperation and helpfulness that was given to our club members, the judges, and the many people that came to enjoy the show. We could not ask for anything that we didn't get a resounding "we can do that".We invited all the residents of Brandywine to not only attend the show but to enter their own plants that they may have in their rooms in a special class within the show. All eight that entered received a very special Certificate of Excellent Participation and Appreciation. When we presented them with their certificates, you could tell that they were very proud of their entries. We also had a photo shoot so they can show their accomplishments to their family and friends.I want to especially thank Christine Warrington for making it an enjoyable experience for everyone involved. I can tell by the way she treats the residents and guests that she absolutely loves her job because she does it so well.

My mother has been a resident of Brandywine since October, 2014. She has thrived under the excellent care of the Wellness team and the kind and professional staff - too many to compliment in this tiny space! She misses "home" but admitted to me on my last visit that she really did like it a lot. This was a huge step for her - and me. Who knocks on your door to remind you of bingo or other events going on - and makes sure that you attend the many outings planned? She has a social life and participates in most activities. She is secure in knowing she is not alone and is treated with kindness and respect when in need. She has friends at happy hour and dances as often as she can - all the while living as independent a life as she can. Eileen Bennett has been amazing...she knows and cares about all her residents -she has been a god-send and all the staff at Brandywine are a reflection of her genuine concern for all residents welfare and happiness. To know that my mother is safe and in such a beautiful place is appreciate all you all do everyday!
