Established by the Franciscan sisters in 1954 as a care home for women, Ave Maria grew to become a 31-bed non-profit community providing skilled nursing care in 1965. The mission of caring for seniors was further expanded in 2010 with the conversion of the convent and the chaplain’s house to residential care facilities for the elderly, providing assisted living care for seniors.
Ideally suited for ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents, here’s a home where the residents can bet the kind of attention and professional care your family member needs. Keeping a close eye on the resident’s eating habits; the kitchen prepares individual meals for residents with special dietary needs or restrictions. Exercise, garden area and personal attention and lots of love make Ave Maria Senior Living a nice place to be as well with personalized care in a home-like setting. Located on a quiet, secluded seven-acre site off Josselyn Canyon, away from noise and city traffic, Ave Maria provides a beautiful and serene environment among the flowing plants and trees on our grounds
