The only state Veterans Home in Hawaii these folks take pride in serving the veterans every day. Their staffing levels are so much higher than everyone else in the area. As of 9/8/20 this facility had 74 residents, 58 have tested positive for COVID-19 and 9 of those have died. Avalon HealthCare keeps saying they are working “tirelessly to protect” residents but the 78.3% rate of infection is proving their statements false. Protect the vets in your family by keeping them away from this place!
