Staff and Training
We have a diverse team of professionals including housekeeping, dietary, office staff, CNAs, LPNs, RNs, a Medical Director, and a Nurse Practitioner. All staff members undergo initial training upon hire, annual training, and additional training as needed to ensure they are equipped to provide the highest quality of care.
Resident Safety and Well-being
Our facility employs an inter-disciplinary approach to resident care, ensuring a smooth adjustment and ongoing well-being. For safety, our staff are available around the clock, and the front doors are secured at night.
Transition and Support Services
Social workers are on hand to assist with discharge planning for residents transitioning back to the community after a short-term stay.
Transportation Services
While we do not have our own transportation services, we contract with a wheelchair van company for appointments and have a coordinator to manage these logistics.
Dining Experience
Post-COVID, we have not resumed full dining room service. Residents typically eat in their rooms or common areas. Dietary staff deliver meals to the hall, and CNAs bring them to residents. We offer a main meal, an alternative, and an always available menu, with dietary preferences noted without the need for residents to order.
Handling Complaints and Issues
Social workers are available to address any concerns, ensuring the appropriate department responds promptly. Supervisors are also available during evenings and weekends.
Cost of Living
The cost per day is $282 for a shared room and $314 for a private room.
Communication with Families
Care plan meetings involving the interdisciplinary team, resident, and responsible party are scheduled after admission and then quarterly. Nurses communicate any changes in condition or new orders to families.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer respite stays of a week or more at the same rates as long-term stays: $282 per day for a shared room and $314 for a private room.
Pet Policy
Pets are welcome to visit with up-to-date vaccine records provided by the owner. We have a waiting list for residency, accept Medicare, Medicaid, and Private Pay, but do not accept Medicaid Pending.
