The nurses and CNA's were kind and attemtive, but the administrative staff has been just awful. From transferring my mother to a different section of the facility without consulting me (and charging far more than the price sheet I had) to not giving my mother the 40+ letters I sent her during the pandemic to try to minimize her feelings of isolation, I found their policies and behaviors unconscionable. I moved my mother back home August 31. She died September 29. I am so grateful to God.I got her out of there.
Soft opening tour. This is the newest of the Plaza assisted living facilities across from Windward mall. Scenic views of Kāne'ohe bay and the Koolau mountains. There are independent living units, assisted living units, memory care, and extended care for non-ambulatory residents. The building has outdoor seating and walking path around the building. Laundry on each floor, theater room, activity room, exercise and physical therapy room. Interested? Schedule a tour! They're already half reserved.
I visited February 20, 2021 thru March 14, 2021 my mother. I visited everyday to every other day both mornings and afternoons. I witnessed excellent care, compassion, empathy and humor from all staff members to my mother.Mom has been at this facility since opening and has been given the utmostCare from all staff members. My Mom is 92 y.o. And joins in daily exercise, arts & crafts, bingo, movies, excursions and enjoys the pleasantry of everyone. They have excursions and activities to keep residents entertained. This facility is extremely clean. The staff has been accommodating especially with our out of town family visits.I highly recommend this senior living facility. I would love to live there myself.Mahalo to the Plaza staff for a job well done and especially during Covid!
