Welcome to Our Independent Community
We are an independent community with over 35 employees dedicated to serving our seniors. Our team includes housekeepers, kitchen and bistro staff, an executive director, business office manager, activities director, executive chef, front desk staff, two directors of community relations, and a night front desk staff, ensuring someone is always in the building 24 hours a day. Each staff member is trained in CPR and certified.
Daily Check-Ins
By 10 am each day, we have a record of everyone in the community who has been seen at breakfast or around the community. If a resident is not marked off the list, we call them. If we cannot reach them by phone, we go to their apartment to check on them, aiming to reach everyone by 11:30 am. Residents inform the front desk when they leave the community.
Resource Center
Our community offers a resource center to assist new residents with moving companies, realtors, estate sale businesses, donation pick-up, and much more.
Transportation Services
We provide transportation for our residents to doctor appointments, field trips, and shopping trips once a week, usually within a 10-mile radius, but can accommodate further distances for appointments.
Meal Services
Breakfast is served seven mornings a week from 7 am to 10 am, offering a continental style dining. Dinner is available five nights a week, Monday through Friday, from 4 to 6:30 pm, with a full menu including appetizers, soup or salad, main course, and dessert. Once a month, we host a champagne brunch.
Town Hall Meetings
We host a Town Hall meeting once a month, providing residents with the opportunity to discuss issues in an open forum. Our Executive Director and management staff are also available to address any questions or issues.
Occupancy and Availability
Currently, we are 96% occupied. We have 3 one-bedroom apartments and 1 studio available, with a waitlist for larger units.
Health Clinics
We schedule COVID and flu clinics in the community and have partnerships with local pharmacies and hospitals for vaccinations and other health services.
Caregiving Services
Twelve different caregiving companies provide services to our residents, allowing them to age in place based on their needs and budget.
Community Lifestyle
Our community offers a vibrant lifestyle with activities, a movie theater, gym, art studio, private family dining room, and the Presidents Room for large events, ensuring our residents enjoy a fulfilling lifestyle.
