My Dad was a resident at The Colonial for about 15 months until his passing. My Mother is currently a resident in memory care. I find that the staff is very caring, kind, and respectful. I have observed staff members attending to the needs of each resident. I am notified by staff of any concern about my parents and Alicia has always been a knowledgeable manager that addresses any issue that I have had to arise. Thank you to all of the staff of The Colonial at Old Camden!
This is a great place to live. I know a couple of people that stay here and they absolutely love it. They get to do different things throughout the day, so they aren't just sitting in one spot all day long. Also, Residents can have pets here. The staff team is amazing. They love and care about their Residents and it shows. Very sweet people work here :) :) :) I've never heard a bad thing about COC. The manager is very thoughtful and understanding as well!
Had two "pow wows" as my primary doctor calls them with Alicia, the director of many concerns/care of my husband to no avail. Like he said you shoud not have to have to talk to anyone to get them to do the job they chould have been doing in the first place. Not a caring place. I give them a -10 on scale. They Do not comply with doctors orders, etc. as specified by dehec. In Alicia's (the director) words told me in her own words she once told her stadf , "If I look for something, I will find something". Well... Maybe she should be looking. So much happened I ultmately had to take my husband out. There are only a couple of individuals I have meat that really care about the residents. Terry and Renee. Not all are to blame. The administration is !!!!
