Employees generally have positive things to say about working for Sava Senior Care, citing good therapist colleagues, flexible hours, and a fun environment. However, there are some cons, such as small opportunity for career growth, high insurance costs, no employer matching on 401K, and lack of support from higher-ups. Employees also mention that the company is divesting at the end of the year, there is a lack of staff to fulfill patient needs, toxic senior and C-suite leadership behavior is tolerated, and there is no vacation time ever approved. My Mother was just admitted to the Manor for rehabilitation. I was up visiting and found serious understaffing problems. This was a weekend and there were only 2 nurses on shift for both sides of the operation. My mother needed to go to the bathroom and turned her call light on and after 5 minutes I had to go find someone to help her, unfortunately it was a little to late as she could not hold it. I’m afraid the Manor is looking at the bottom line instead of patient care.
I was in the Rock Creek Rehabilitation Center at Sheridan Manor from Feb 27 to Mar 13 2019 recovering from knee replacement surgery. I feel as if I received professional quality care. The nurses and all staff were friendly and always willing to help in any way they could and very accommodating. I received excellent therapy and care throughout my stay. I would recommend this facility with no reservations.
My Mom was recently at Sheridan Manor for IV antibiotics for 6 weeks. She always raved about the professional staff and how great her care was. The staff went above and beyond to ensure her safety. Her nurse Sarah was amazing!!!! I have been a nurse for 31 years so a bit picky especially where my mom is concerned. It was hard being in New Mexico but knowing Sarah was in charge of my mom's care gave me peace of mind. I knew she couldn't be in better hands. She proved time and time again her exceptional Nursing skills, kept my mom safe and saved her multiple times. I cant thank your staff enough for the care my mom received at Sheridan Manor. And for Sarah..... you deserve your guardian angel wings!
My mother had surgery and my brother & I, both living elsewhere, were worried she would fall when she was released to go home. My brother contacted the other nursing home in Sheridan and had my mother admitted there until her strength returned. On the same day my mother was admitted and while 2 head nurses were in the room with her, they allowed her to fall and she fractured her spine. After receiving the call & with too many holes in their story I drove to Wyoming and removed my mother from that facility and admitted her to Sheridan Manor where she recovered her strength and eventually went back home. Mom had no issues while at Sheridan Manor and was always happy, content and spoke often of how nice everyone was. I'm so glad she was allowed to recuperate from her surgery & added injury in such a caring facility. I would highly recommend Sheridan Manor
My father went to Rock Creek Rehab at Sheridan Manor to recover from a knee replacement surgery. He received excellent quality care while there and loved his stay!It was so comforting to be able to have a place for him to go after surgery since we were far away and unable to help him in his recovery. He was well cared for and made excellent progress in his therapy while there. The staff was caring, knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely reccomend Sheridan Manor and Rock Creek Rehabilitation to any friends or family members who may need it in the future!
Sheridan Manor is a wonderful place to work. Through the ebbs and tides of the challenges of the long term care industry, Sheridan Manor has remained a steadfast resource in our community for our elders. I am so proud to be on a team of fresh and innovative leadership and love the residents I care for each day.
I placed my 36 year old daughter in Sheridan Manor for a period of 3 1/2 months, during that time the staff worked hard to meet her needs and my expectations. She had some unique medical issues and was well taken care of. She enjoyed her time there and made many friends. If the need ever arises again for her to require specialized care I would definitely return to Sheridan Manor.
The staff in the Memory Care Unit are competent, compassionate, and attentive. I couldn't be happier with the care my husband is receiving. Placing him was a VERY difficult, heart wrenching, decision. It could have been a nightmare. Thanks to their support and professionalism it wasn't. He's actually happier there than he was at home. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful group of people helping us!
My dad is here and my mom is in Casper, WY. Sheridan Manor keeps promising to transfer my mom here so my parents can be together. They have been married for 51 years, but nothing ever happens. Sheridan Manor keeps promising to get my dad headphones so he can talk to my mom on the phone, but nothing ever happens. He is very hard of hearing and would require special headphones. The nurse on his wing is always rude to us. She obviously hates her job.
