In 2005, the vision to build Green House cottages in Sheridan was born from the desire of Sheridan caregivers who wanted something better for their loved ones. It all started with a community needs assessment. We partnered up with the City of Sheridan and created a nonprofit legal entity called Alternative Elder Living, Inc. An important aspect of the Greenhouse model is fostering a sense of community within each home and the surrounding neighborhood. When elders live in community, they can rely on each other for help and company. This interdependence and collaboration between generations allows elders to continue living meaningful lives.Price Comparison

Senior living without the institutional feel of long corridors, rows of patients, or stacks of staff. Each cottage offers a range of services that is delivered personally, without the hierarchy that stresses pecking order over service. Beautiful location, with safe places to walk or wheel around.
