This detailed information was obtained directly from the Director of Sales at Richmont Terrace Assisted Living & Memory Care via email on March 26, 2024.
Availability and Waitlist
Currently, we don’t have an immediate opening in assisted living or memory care. The waitlist and availability depend on the apartment style chosen.
Pricing
Pricing details are included in the digital brochure provided above.
Staffing
Our nursing department includes a Healthcare Director (RN), an Assistant Healthcare Director (LPN), and a Memory Program Director (LPN). These professionals share the responsibilities for our residents and are on call when not in the building. We also employ Med Aides/techs, CNAs, and other supportive staff and managerial positions, all undergoing continued monthly training.
Safety Measures
Safety measures vary depending on whether the resident is in Assisted Living or Memory Care. More details about the specific needs can help provide accurate information.
Transitioning to the Community
We understand the significance of transitioning into the community and ensure all staff members are supportive of new residents. Personalizing the transition plan is possible by understanding the individual's personality and specific situation.
Transportation and Outings
We offer three transportation appointments per month included in the monthly fee, with a small fee for additional appointments. Regular trips for life enrichment activities are also scheduled.
Dining
Three meals a day are provided in a restaurant-style dining room, with servers attending to residents. Menus for assisted living/memory care can be provided upon request.
Addressing Complaints
Residents or families can address complaints or issues to any of our nine department leaders or directly to our Executive Director, Annie Dyer, who maintains an open-door policy.
Family Communication
Communication frequency from the nursing department depends on changes in the resident's condition or upon family's request for regular updates.
Respite Services
Availability for respite services depends on apartment availability and is influenced by the current waitlist and resident health status. Costs vary based on the duration of stay and required level of care.
Pet Policy
We are a pet-friendly community, requiring a non-refundable pet deposit equal to 25% of one month’s rent and pet records on file.
Vaccinations
Flu vaccinations are provided, but COVID vaccinations are currently administered at individual’s MD offices.
Aging in Place
While individuals can age in place in assisted living, we cannot manage certain skilled care needs such as feeding tubes, ventilators, or specialized diets. More details on specific circumstances are needed to provide a comprehensive answer.
