What a beautiful community for our Kapuna. Well manicured. Nice people. Friendly Staff. Nurses 24 hours a day. The Activities Director is the best on the planet. A full service salon on site. Libraries, piol tables, piano, big screen tv, pool, jacuzzi. Wish I could, afford to live there!
I have had the opportunity to visit the Regency at Puakea many times. The care staff from Val the Director of Nursing, to the General Manager Kathy Peters are kind, attentive and provide the utmost in making you feel welcome. The residents whom I had a chance to talk with rave about the facility, the warm family atmosphere, the staff and especially the wonderful food! I would heartily recommend Regency at Puakea for any and all needs for the Independent and Assisted Living Resident! They also have a wonderful "Special Services Unit" for the resident that may need a more structured, safe community for the resident with Alzheimer's or other Dementia Care needs.
I work with a private client there. It’s truly an Amazing place. Very clean and nice setting. Perfect place for your loved that are needing additional care. They provide the best quality of care and attentions to their residents. They take tours and shoppings. They have a lot of activities, programs and exercise everyday to keep the residents active and busy. They even have salon for hair cut and nail care for the residents. All the staffs are very nice and friendly. I always feel welcome….Truly loved this place.
It was an seamlessly easy process to register to enter . The place is clean, staff are available and seen, and the residents looks comfortable, relaxed, and engaged. If you are fortunate enough to have family here at Regency at Puakea, rest assured they are well taken care of.
I had a nice visit with one of the residents, even if it was in the front of the building. When I first called I was informed that we couldn’t visit, so it was a very pleasant surprise for both of us to be able to sit and chat. I feel that it’s good for the residents to see others.I want to know what the procedure is for me to see her again after my trip to Oahu. I will be coming back to Kauai on Dec 28. How many days do I have to wait to see her and is a test required? Please inform me. Thank you.
This is a place filled with love & aloha. An amazing team of people that have the residents best interest at heart. Professional yet local style. So many activities for all kinds of likes. The best staffing I've ever seen. You feel at home when you are there. I highly recommend this place to live and flourish. Great aloha spirit. Amazing ohana running the facility. You can relax and enjoy. I look forward to being there.
