The private pay rate (out of pocket cost) for a semi-private (shared) room is $202/day. For a private room, the rate is $236/day. We do not currently have any private rooms available.

New Mark Care Center & NorthCourt Rehab Suites and The Eden Alternative
New Mark Care Center & NorthCourt Rehab Suites was the first facility in Missouri to embrace a concept known as “The Eden Alternative”. The Eden Alternative changes nursing homes into lively places that provide care for people of all ages, and integrates a variety of plants and animals into residents’ lives. Although we are not a registered Eden Alternative facility, we embrace the Eden Alternative concept and strive to provide a habitat that encourages spontaneous interaction for our residents with each part of the Eden habitat.
Our Diverse Family of Residents
New Mark is currently home to cats, birds, turtles and fish. The cats have free roam of the facility and frequently visit our residents in their rooms. We also offer two private courtyards that are reserved for the use our residents.
Intergenerational Activities
Our Activities Department works closely with nearby grade schools on a variety of events that bring the children into the building for many intergenerational activities. The children bring a lively energy and much joy to the residents. One of the largest events is our Fright Free Trick-or-Treat which typically draws over 250 children.
The Philosophy of Care
Giving nursing home residents the opportunity to nurture other living things is central to the Eden Alternative philosophy. Allowing residents to become caregivers for other living beings strengthens their will to live and gives their days meaning.
