The staff at Morning Star are truly exceptional.  Our parents have been residents at Morning Star since last September.  We recently had to move them from Independent Living to Assisted Living. This process is never easy from an emotional standpoint, but the staff were really fantastic, helping us with every step, and ensuring our parents care and move in a timely fashion. We know our parents are now safe and well cared for.  We can't say enough about the staff and facility!!!  Thank you to all!!!

I am thrilled to tell you how wonderful Morning Star Senior Living is in Sparks, NV. I will start with the Staff. Eric, who moved Heaven & Earth to help me get my mother moved in. Lori, his boss, who kept me going with chocolate and encourages Eric to do an incredible job of marketing.  Assaad, the Executive Director who was SO kind to me years ago when I was first searching for where to move my mother, and who I spotted serving tables in the restaurant just last night. Then, there is Jacques! The Executive Chef. He is REMARKABLE! His staff is amazing. The food is consistently delicious and healthy. My mother's 4th floor apartment is astounding! The East facing view from the enormous living room window is spectacular. Activities abound. The residents are happy and friendly. I know, because not only do they chat with me, but have made my mother feel so welcome she mentioned she feels like part of a BIG family! Morning Star continue your exceptional work. It is so important to the well being of those in their Golden years and makes my life easier knowing my mother is enjoying her life.   Please visit & mention Jody & Colleen sent you! During nearly the last decade of his life, my father moved from independent living to assisted living to memory care at MorningStar Sparks. In many respects it may be that these last years were among his most joyous.An advanced alzheimer's patient, dad was treated with dignity, respect and skill. He was cared for with compassion as a valued member of the community. He felt beloved, and his family felt confident that both his physical and emotional needs were always well tended.Every member of the MorningStar community - from the diligent and professional caregivers, to the engaged and concerned staff, to the exceptional expertise and empathy of the Executive Director - consistently created a place of grace and tenderness for dad to live.We are most appreciative for the loving care provided by the MorningStar community.

Great place and my dad is so happy there at the Sparks Morningstar! Nida gave us a great tour and answered all of our questions, and was very responsive when we contacted her throughout the moving process. This facility is clean and welcoming and very well-managed. Great follow through with everything so far: daily activity bulletins all over the building, quick response from maintenance, friendly and knowledgeable front desk staff, follow up contacts from management, etc. We have found a wonderful place for my dad to call home!!

Absolutely 5 stars. Integrity and class in every aspect of my experience of taking a tour. Charlie, our guide, was impeccable in answering my dad's never ending tedious questions...This place offers so many more benefits than the others in the reno area I've been touring.Large apartments, all day dining menu are just two of the important ones for us. I'm sold.

I took a tour of this assisted living facility for my dad. I walked and talked with Stephanie and found her to be very informative of all aspects of the community. I found the community to be very clean and had something to do for everyone. I would recommend them highly.

After looking at all the senior facilities in Reno, I am so glad I chose Morning Star in Sparks for my grandmother. Everything they have is what I imagined for my grandmother and more. The apartments are spacious with a beautiful view, the daily activities are exciting, the food is delicious, and the staff there are incredibly welcoming. Nida, Amanda, Inga and the whole team made my grandmother feel right at home. I have no doubt that my grandmother is in the best hands.

Cannot say enough about the staff and facility at Morning Star. My parents lived here for 2.5 years. Dad passed away there and they helped so much. They had a special memorial and worked so welll with hospice. They were incredible with both my parents and myself. The food is amazing, the facility clean, the staff wonderful. My mom loved it there. So many little extras that making leaving home less difficult for them. I plan on moving there when I retire!
