Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
Currently, we have a waiting list for specific apartment types, e.g., 1 bedroom with den, small studio, in Assisted Living. In our business, things can change quickly, so availability is hard to predict!
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
Certainly. Each of our directors and staff members is required to have job-specific training before, and during, their employment. Our care staff also undergoes additional training and certifications which are required by Nevada state law – and our Memory Care staff receives additional training which is specific for their roles in caring for people who suffer from dementia. Every staff member is required to complete new training modules every month, through Relias Training, and our licensed staff, e.g., executive director and nursing, also need to keep up with continuing education requirements for their licensure.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
We have several protocols which we practice, routinely, to ensure the safety of our Residents. These include disaster drills, elopement drills (for memory care), fire safety exercises, and such. All of our exterior doors are locked from the outside, except for our main entrance, which is open from 8AM to 7PM daily. After hours, Residents and families can access our building with an electronic key or by calling one of our care stations. Memory Care is also a double-redundant keypad accessible only community. Of course, our entire staff employs safety measures every minute of every day, whilst doing their respective jobs.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
Yes, starting with creating a new Resident biographical profile before they even move in. After moving in, our onboarding process involves each staff director, including our Vibrant Life® Activities director, to ensure that they are properly oriented and introduced to other Residents (notably, members of our Resident Council and Resident Ambassador team).
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Yes, our courtesy shuttle is ADA compliant and we take people to scheduled medical appointments, shopping, and fun excursions, routinely.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Yes, our Elevate Dining® program involves chef-prepared food from a menu which features a new special entrée selection for each meal, which changes every day. We also have an “Anytime Menu” from which people can select a variety of entrees – any time from breakfast to dinner each day – which features Resident favorites, including breakfast anytime, a variety of deli sandwiches, tacos, large shrimp salad, fish and chips, and more. We do have meal times set by the Residents (8AM, 12PM, 5PM), while they also have the option to dine any time during the day, every day. We do not employ a point system or card system for meals. Rather, we just focus on providing Residents with a good, nutritious, and delicious variety of food, every meal, every day – and we listen to them for suggestions and critiques!
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
We have comment cards and a suggestion/complaint protocol in place, through which Residents can let us know their concerns. Residents may also voice their concerns to members of the Resident Council.

What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?

Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
Yes, we offer respite stays in both Assisted Living and Memory Care, for $300/day and $400/day, respectively.
