Professional Staff and Training
Our staff comprises Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Registered Medical Assistants (RMAs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs). Beyond their initial qualifications, we conduct monthly in-service training on a variety of topics, including fall risk prevention and virtual dementia training. Additionally, we have pre-assigned online trainings each month covering resident rights, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and more.
Resident Safety and Well-being
To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we have a collaborative approach across all departments. Housekeeping performs weekly deep cleaning, nursing staff create and monitor personalized care plans, maintenance ensures the proper functioning of critical systems like fire doors and elevators, and our activities department offers 5-6 different activities daily along with hosting a monthly resident council.
Transition Support Services
We assist new residents in finding their place within the community, particularly in the dining room. Resident ambassadors are available to help them settle in, acclimate to their new environment, and encourage participation in activities.
Transportation Services
We provide transportation for outings on Mondays and Fridays, and for doctor's appointments on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Dining Experience
Our dining room is open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Breakfast includes a daily special as well as staples like eggs, bacon, cereal, and toast. For lunch, residents can choose from a soup, salad, two main entrees, and three sides, or opt for lighter options from an alternative menu.
Resident Complaints and Issues
Residents can report complaints or issues by requesting a complaint form at the front desk, which will be addressed by our executive director. Issues can also be raised during the resident council, with the minutes being distributed to each department coordinator for resolution.
Cost of Living
The starting cost for our apartments is $4,000.
Communication with Residents' Families
Our director of resident care communicates with families regarding any changes in condition and arranges care plan meetings as needed. Our executive director keeps families informed about community events, activities, and updates via email.
