    MISSISSIPPI VALLEY Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center is a 40,000 square-foot skilled nursing facility, specializing in respiratory and complex medical care, is one of the largest facilities in Southeastern Iowa.

The licensed and experienced staff has made Mississippi Valley Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center the most respected choice among healthcare facilities in the region.

    Mississippi Valley Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center has a professional staff compromised of competent and skilled registered nurses, respiratory therapists, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, restorative nursing assistants, domestic aides, and social workers. Our medical director, dietitian, and formal therapy department also work with the interdisciplinary team, the patients, and family to develop an individualized plan of care.

    Our rehabilitation program treats people of all ages. Whether you need rehabilitative care after surgery as a result of an injury, or due to a chronic health condition, your therapy program will be personalized to get back on track in an atmosphere as close to home as possible.

    Our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program is able to provide care for long and short-term ventilator-dependent patients, as well as maintain a high wean rate for patients that failed to wean in the acute care setting. We utilize the LTV 1150 ventilator as well as the ReVel50, and Vivo. All three are compact, portable, and allow for easier mobility and socialization for the patient.

    Fully furnished, private and semi-private rooms are available. Residents are invited to bring personal items to add the warmth of home to their new residence. We are pleased to offer residents the comfort of knowing they can have both the loving support of family and the caring dedication of our healthcare team.
