I posted a review of Memorial care center in Belleville Il a week ago. The facility posted back that they would like my contact information to discuss the issues that I posted about. I sent them my information and it’s been a week and they still haven’t contacted me. It is painfully obvious that the issues with this facility are throughout. There was a lack of follow through by the nursing staff and it appears that it goes all the way up the ladder. Any time we brought our issues to the staff they would apologize and then make excuses. The post that responded to my review apologized for the care we received and said that it was not their normal practice. However, they have proven that it is the normal practice. The review I wrote was by no mean favorable and I would think that any for profit business would bend over backwards to change my mind. And yet no effort has been made by this facility. My greatest concern is for the patients still there and the future patients. No one should have to go through what my mother went through. No one who is trying to get better and stronger should have to fight to get the care they are not only paying for but that they rightfully deserve. Please do not send your loved ones to this facility. You will worry about them the entire time they are there.
