Apartment Availability and Pricing
Depending on the size of apartment you are looking for, I currently do have availability. Pricing starts at $4250 + Care, which is calculated to the individual’s care needs at $27/hr.

We do have a $500 deposit, which is refundable up to the completion of the Assessment.

Our Care Team
Our care team consists of two Health Care Directors, Medication Technicians, and Care Givers. Most of whom have been with Legend for at least a year and some of whom have been here since we opened in 2018. Our medicine technicians are delegated under our nurses' license and have classes/tests every three months to be able to remain on the med carts. All associates in the building have monthly continuing education courses that we take to stay up to date on state regulations and safety as well as refreshers on working with the senior community.
Front Desk Monitoring
We have someone at the front desk from 8 AM – 8 PM to monitor visitors going in and out of the building as well as a sign in sign out for families or residents going out of our building. Our Health Care Director creates a personalized care plan for each resident in our building to ensure their well-being. In case of a fall, Medicine Technicians are here to assess the situation and determine whether or not 911 needs to be called. Most times we are able to get them up and on their way.
100 Hours 100 Days Program
We have what we call 100 Hours 100 Days, we rally around them and help get acclimated to their new home at Legend of McKinney. We introduce them with one of our resident Ambassadors who will take them under their wing and introduce them to others and activities.
Transportation and Outings
We have medical transportation on Tuesdays and Thursdays within ten miles of the community as well as shopping trips on Mondays.
Gold Leaf Dining
Our Gold Leaf Dining is a restaurant-style experience, there are multiple choices for all meal times. It is open seating and promotes healthy eating, socialization, and the feeling of importance for each of our residents.
Addressing Complaints
If a resident has a complaint, they are open to come to the front desk and speak with our CSA and Residence Director. All complaints are treated equally and addressed in a timely manner.
Cost of Living
The cost of living in Legend of McKinney depends on which floor plan as well as level of cares, but our starting rate for Assisted Living is $4,710 and for Memory Care it is $4,840.
Family Communication and Assessments
Our Health Care Director communicates with our families on a regular basis and is always open for families to come to her with concerns. Our residents have a new assessment every 120 days and go over new care plans with each family.
Residency Commitment
We do not offer respite stay. We require a 60-day commitment then it is a month-to-month lease with a 30-day notice.
Pet Policy
We are pet friendly with a weight limit and residents must be able to care for their animals. We have a one-time pet fee of $500.
