Why didn't I know about this place when Mom needed someplace to live with her memory problems (Alzheimer's 1998-2008)? Lake House is very nice. It's clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and there are so many activities for the residents. My friend seems very happy here. After being here 30 days, she could not tell me one thing she does not like. She likes it all! When I walked into the dining area to visit my friend, I walked into an ice cream social. My friend and one of the other residents asked the staff member serving up ice cream if I could have a cup. She gave me one, and it was delicious. My friend showed me her room. It's small and cozy and she has her own bathroom. We sat outside talking, and it was a beautiful day. She showed me the lake behind the facility, and told me she loves watching the ducks. As we talked, a couple of musicians pulled up to the front of Lake House and unloaded their equipment. Within 30 minutes we heard them playing in the dining area. They were great! I look forward to seeing my friend often in the future. I'm so glad she's here!

My Mother resides at Lake House. Before coming here we checked out several other ALF's and my Mom decided this one would be home. This is a Top Notch facility, not just because of the home type feel, but it is the entire experience. Michael, the director, goes over and beyond his duties, and his staff are absolutely fantastic and extremely accommodating. I am so happy for my mother, and I highly recommend this Assisted Living Facility.

We had a scheduled tour today. We arrived about 10 minutes early and sat in the great room (assisted living building). No staff at the front desk or in the great room (we saw an attendant in the dining area). No attention to the front door.A resident in a wheelchair tried to come back inside, and the automatic doors closed on her chair. We had to rescue her ourselves. She asked another resident for help getting to the elevator.I wrote a note that we'd seen all we needed to see and left it there.

A brand new clean assisted living facility. Approximately 70 residents live here. Better than most Assisted Living facility.I have lived here for 4.5 years now and I don't think I would ever move. We have had some bad times but mostly good. Check out Lakehouse ALF if you are interested. I really live here, not a bogus review.

Lake House, a family owned Assisted Living Facility is a happy place. After we placed our loved one in their care, we found that the residents, employees, management, and owners are happy. They place people, especially the residents first as it should be. From what I have seen, it is a well-run operation. If you call the facility at any time, you will get a friendly staff member on the line willing to handle your request. The daily activities for the residents are first class! We're happy we chose Lake House!

I do not understand the negative reviews of this facility.My father has been there for 2 1/2 years and is treated with the respect, kindness and dignity that he deserves. This facility is run by a mother and son who care. So much so that you have their personal cell phone Numbers to contact them 24 hours a day.The facility is beautifully decorated, the chefs are so accommodating, my father has to eat his food puréed, which is no fun for anybody, but they make his plate look appetizing. The facility is decorated for every occasion, and always looks so beautiful. Thanksgiving and Christmas all family members are invited for a five-star meal. And a Christmas tree and gifts are given to every single resident by the owners.There is a resident Council every month, When issues can be adressed if there are any.The staff are more than willing to help in any possible way they can.If you’re considering assisted-living for your loved, one go talk to Eric, you can even ask him for my email or phone number, I would be happy to answer any concerns you may have.God bless you in your search for a perfect place for your loved one.

I would give a lower score if it was at all possible. Be aware...VERY AWARE...and as with ANY FACILITY, (ESPECIALLY THIS ONE) before & after you make any decisions, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BE CERTAIN TO DO 'SUPRISE' & 'RANDOM TIMED' VISITS. This can and WILL save your loved ones much distress and pain as well as help them maintain their DIGNITY. I am talking about the most basic of needs being, or rather perhaps NOT being met on a daily and timely manner.

My aunt toured Lake House and found it to be beautifully appointed, clean fresh and elegant. She sent me pictures & video and I am beyond impressed. I hope the timing works out for my Uncle & their new memory care home. Thumbs up, way up!
