I called from off island to ask questions about possibly food drop off for my MIL who unexpectedly had to stay in the facility. The staff member (Charla) made wonderful suggestions and even offered to help pick up anything my MiL needed. She said, “We’re all like family here and help one another.” In a year that has been full of such negativity and uncertainty, it was refreshing to know the aloha spirit still exists!
I wish I could rate this dump a 0 stars but all i can say is yuck. When we got there they gave us are room but when i looked around i saw dead bug a used cup a dirty wipe and a wrapper of a medical tool and a dirty tissue in the wheel of the cart. Then when the doctor came in out of the 2 hours we were there and the five different nurses and doctors they never washed there hands and they were touching the pashent. Than thing that made most mad is that when one of the doctors were picking trash of of the floor and shoved it in to a trash can than touched the prashant with out washing his hands and then he let us out of the ambulance entrance without evan checking us out of the hospital. I wish that the D.O.H would inspect that dump. I would recomend going to any other hospital.
