This detailed information was obtained directly from the Sales Representative at Green Tree via email on Feb. 29, 2024.
One Bedroom Apartments Available
We currently have a couple of one bedroom apartments open.
Pet Friendly
We are pet friendly. There is a one-time pet deposit of $500.
Restaurant Style Dining
We serve three meals a day restaurant style in our dining room. There is a menu on the table and a server takes each person’s order from two selections and there is an alternate menu as well if neither of those things sound good that day.
Family Participation Encouraged
We encourage family to visit any time and have events that specifically include family participation.
Nursing Staff
We have three nurses on staff-our residence director, health care director and assistant health care director. They oversee the advanced certified medication aids, the certified medication aids and the nurse aids.
Training and Assessments
We have mandatory one hour trainings every other week. The nursing team does an assessment on each of our residents about every 60 days and calls family to let them know what is going on (this happens sooner if we see anything that needs to be addressed) we also have a monthly newsletter families can receive to know what is going on at Green Tree.
Personalized Care Planning
Prior to moving in, our families complete paperwork that lists favorite activities, meal preferences, social history and assistance needs to name a few so that we really get to know the needs and preferences of each person living here.
Vaccination Services
We did offer flu vaccines this year at Green Tree and I’m sure we could arrange Covid vaccines as well if someone needs one.
Open Door Policy and Resident Council
Our residence director has an open door policy so anyone can come to her any time there is a complaint or concern. We also have a resident council meeting where anyone who wishes to attend can share their concerns or suggestions for improvement.
Safety Features
We have handrails in the hallways and safety bars in the shower and toilet area. Each resident also wears a call pendant so they can push a button any time they need additional assistance.
Transportation and Outings
We provide transportation to doctor appointments and go to Dollar General on Fridays. We also take outings to get some fresh air!
Transition to Assisted Living Program
We have a program in place to assist with the transition to Assisted living where each member of leadership spends time getting to know new residents and making them feel welcome as well as introducing them to other residents with similar interests. Our life enrichment director makes sure they know what activities are going on and encourages them to participate.
Respite Care
We have respite care which is one month and would cost the amount of the room rate depending upon the room chosen, plus care fees depending upon how much assistance is needed. Care levels are determined by our nurse’s assessment done prior to move in.
