Grand Emerald Place Description

The Place offers a homey environment for residents (and their pets), support for activities of daily living, and a community where they can thrive. We develop personalized care plans to suit the needs of each resident, and a full-time registered nurse is available 24/7 to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care. The residents of our community live rich and fulfilling lives by taking part in a wide variety of stimulating activities, such as bingo, tai chi, movie nights, arts and crafts, and social gatherings. We enjoy outdoor activities like the walking club, gardening club, and outdoor tea parties.

Assisted Living

We create unique care plans for each of our residents to make sure their individual needs are being met. Nurses are always there to lend a helping hand and make sure everyone in the community is healthy and happy. We provide three delicious meals each day, weekly housekeeping services, medication management, and much more.

Employees who have worked for Enlivant in the South Bend, IN area have mixed reviews. On the positive side, they appreciate that the company attempts to give bonuses in some jobs and that they are truly vested in caring for the elderly. On the negative side, there is a lack of work-life balance and constant stress due to not having enough staff to provide quality care. Additionally, the culture from the regional team is not always positive. Despite these drawbacks, employees have enjoyed working with their residents and feel that if the CEO and COO can get the regional teams to exemplify the mission, the company could move into greatness.
