IF LOVE YOUR FAMILY MEMBER, DO NOT PUT THEM IN THIS PLACE! This place neglected and was 100% the cause of the death of my mother. This place of racial hatred & horrors put her in quarantine and we were not allowed to see her, not knowing she was suffering. The horrid person in charge of her care put my mother in a chair away from the call button, there was no phone in the room & she was not able to charge her cell phone. My mother sat in her feces & urine all day, ignore by the employees who hated her because she was white. The fake care giver told her she was not special because she was white. She was special. She was a teacher and Sunday school teacher. She loved all her students of all backgrounds.
My mother was a resident here and the people who work here are lazy, ignorant, and bullies. The staff tries to talk to you as if you are mentally ill or just easy to manipulate. They don't know anything when you ask them, they hardly answer the phone. I don't believe they actually do anything for the patients. I would not even let my dog go here and he's been dead five years now. Very bad.
My mother is currently a resident at this facility and my experience so far has been very good. I am very appreciative of the great effort by Rhonda to accommodate my visits and Cyril is just super. Faye at the front desk is just awesome and patient even when I sign in wrong. All of the staff have been very nice and tried to answer my questions or find me someone who can give me an answer. Brandon and Tony are the best.
My grandfather is in much worse condition than when he went in. The point of a rehabilitation and nursing center is to improve. He has lost so much weight and is so weak, can’t even stand up. When he arrived, he was able to walk a little bit. His sister has been bringing food so he will eat and they are not even delivering it to him, letting it sit for hours and rotting. For Easter Dinner, they served hotdogs. His wounds are not being properly dressed and he is not getting assistance with eating like he needs. He is literally wasting away and it is so sad.
Beware !! This place is a nightmare. First of all no one ever answers the phone. There is no doctor on staff to help with patients with medical issues. No one can answer questions about your loved ones health. When you do ask, all you get is attitude from staff. Most of the staff are nurses aids and there is only 1-2 LPN (not even an RN) on staff with beds for 100 patients. If you look it up they have a ton of fines. When you ask questions about your loved ones condition you get the run around. No one can ever give a definite answer. You try to leave messages for certain staff members and their voicemail is full. I wouldn’t even let my dog stay here. How sad for the poor helpless residents and families.
