I am currently receiving Occupational and Physical Therapy services (as well as wound care) on an outpatient basis, three times a week (M-W-F). I am entering my fifth week and I feel I am making considerable progress in my goal of regaining my independence and mobility. I had recently undergone below the knee amputation of my left leg and have been in a wheelchair since 2019. I had received OT/PT services previously but because of insurance issues was not able to take full advantage of the therapy. I want to commend the staff and administration at Dolphin Pointe for the excellent service they have provided me. I am seeing measurable progress every time I visit DP! Every therapist I have come in contact has shown courtesy, professionalism, concern for my safety, input from me on my well-being and any pain I might be experiencing, as well as extensive knowledge in their field of expertise. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of expert care in OT/PT! The Therapy coordinator is accessible and open to comments, suggestions, and ideas from clients and staff. I consider myself blessed that I was referred to Dolphin Pointe for my rehabilitation!
Last place we saw my father alive after weeks of neglect of both he and we the family trying to get someone on the phone and get him the help he needed. After he passed, the Dolphin Point lawyers did everything in their power (which is more than they should have) to prevent the release of his medical records. If there’s nothing to hide, why can’t the family of the deceased have his medical records?! Don’t send your loved one here.
