Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
We have a waitlist for memory care but I do have one studio and a couple of one bedrooms available.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
Because we have memory care, we are required to have a nurse on staff 24/7. Our care partners go through training here specific to our guidelines and caring for our residents. Our dining staff also has extensive training. We also have monthly refresher training to keep our staff fresh on policies and caring for our residents.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
We educate our staff on fall safety with corporate and state required training. We daily perform screenings of our staff and residents to ensure no signs/symptoms of infection (i.e., COVID) and with any positive cases, we quarantine the residents.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
Mainly, we just talk with the family and resident. We discuss all concerns, questions, and explain everything thoroughly so that everyone involved feels comfortable. We do have a list of people we have used to help with moving furniture and items and local furniture stores if they are interested in buying.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
We do offer bus transportation. Monday and Wednesdays are set aside for doctor visits and errands. Thursday the bus takes residents to Walmart and any other local shopping that is requested.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Each day our residents receive a menu for the next day. They then choose what options they would like for the next day. At mealtimes, the resident will come to the dining area and be seated and the dining partner will serve the resident restaurant style.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
Any complaints can be addressed by any area of the management team. We have a great team here and for example, if it is a maintenance issue and the maintenance director does not handle the issue, then the resident can go to the Executive Director. We work hard to keep all our residents healthy and happy.

What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
It is family preference in how we communicate with them. We do have lifeloop which families can login to and see what activities we have going on. We also are in constant contact with family when there are any changes or anything going on with the resident.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
We do offer respite care. It is a daily rate that is dependent on the care that the resident needs.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Residents are allowed to have their pets. We do have a pet fee of $250 per month.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
We do offer residents to get the flu and COVID vaccination here in the community.
Are residents able to age in place?
Yes, until they are no longer appropriate for assisted living per the state guidelines. Such as unable to get up and transfer or ambulate with the assistance of one person. We have a waitlist for memory care but I do have one studio and a couple of one bedrooms available.
