Availability and Waitlist Information
We currently have availability at this time. We only have a waitlist for our 2 beds/2 baths units at this time.
Team Qualifications and Training
Our team is all CPR certified. The care team all have Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license and we also have Certified Medication Assistants (CMA) who administer the medications to our residents. We have a full-time LPN nurse who is the care department head. Azalea Estates is a Licensed 83 units Assisted Living and Retirement Community. We have 7 days hands-on training when onboarding a new team member to the Azalea Estates culture. We have in-services and fire safety trainings all year long.
Resident Care and Safety
All residents are checked on all day. Some residents are on a level of care where we provide services to them daily. Our more independent residents are checked on in the mornings, every meal, and in the evening. Every resident wears a call pendant around their neck and can press the button anytime they need assistance. Every pendant has a fall detector which will alert us anytime a resident takes a fall in or outside the community. All doors automatically lock behind. A key is required for reentry. We also have a digital sign in/out for everyone that enters the community.
Transition and Resources
We certainly offer resources to our residents as they transition into their new home at Azalea Estates. If we do not have it, we will certainly work on obtaining what is needed for our residents.
Transportation and Dining
Transportation is offered to our residents on our community bus Mon-Fri to doctors appointments, errands, and shopping within a 10 miles radius.
We offer warm restaurant-style dining to our residents 3 times per day, 7 days per week. Our residents make their way down to our grand dining room where they enjoy conversations, laughter, and southern-style home-cooked meals. The menu is a week in advance. Our residents have choices of what they would like for each meal. We prefer our residents to come to the grand dining room, However, if they are under the weather we will pack up what they ordered in a to-go box.
Management and Communication
All managers have an open door policy if a resident has a complaint they want addressed we take it very seriously and bring it to the Executive Director who corrects the situation or finds a compromise. Average rate is about $5500 per month.
Families and friends are updated through email, phone calls, official letters, and meetings in person or virtually. We offer respite stays which is a minimum of 30 days at $180 per day $5400 per month. We are a pet-friendly community.
Health Services
Indeed residents are able to receive COVID and flu vaccines at the community.
Aging in Place
Residents are able to age in place. We currently have availability at this time. We only have a waitlist for our 2 beds/2 baths units at this time.
